Returned last night from Maroma, couldn't wait to write this Long and Excellent review: 1st the individuals that made this a perfect week 1, our butlers, Bernie and Ernesto who were always available for anything we needed and our concierge Shmeri [wrong spelling sorry] Bartender Leobardo and his twin brother server ? on the beach Karen was awesome all the time, Kevin beach attendant and Heidi at Exotic great tour of optional rooms etc. Our 1st time at Maroma definitely going back ASAP ! Lastly PLEASE TIP everyone !! they work very hard and it shows. Barry/ Big Papi from Boston

This place never lets me down
This was our eighth time to El Dorado Maroma and it did not disappoint. Be sure to hang out with the activity staff, led by Alex, Hazel, Chris, Gustavo, and Graciel. a highlight of every trip is playing beach volleyball with these guys, be sure to order tequila shots between sets, you’ll have the best time ever. The bar tending staff is amazing, definitely make time to enjoy a mango tango on the beach.

Truly felt like family and accommodated our needs to make our experience outstanding.
#ExperienceElDorado. My sister, niece and I had an amazing vacation at El Dorado Marina. Shirem and Ana were extremely helpful. Shirem helped us organize our experience including massages and our dinners. She would greet us also when she saw us while walking around the resort. I was extremely impressed that she would remember our names and our plans to check in and ensure we were enjoying everything. Ana was also very helpful following up with our questions. The restaurants were outstanding. My sister and niece are vegetarians. The staff did amazing at accommodating their needs and ensuring they had amazing options. The food was outstanding but the servers made the meals an experience of dining with family. Felipe and Liara were beyond amazing. Felipe even showed my niece how to dance and made the experience even more memorable. The massages were relaxing and fantastic. Sofia was my massage therapist and she provided one of the best massages I have experienced. El Dorado Maroma greeted us by saying welcome home and referring to us as family which was lovely. But it was more then just words, we really did feel like family. When we left, we truly felt like we were leaving our family. Our hope is to return to our new home at El Dorado Maroma. The entire experience was a blessing. Thank you to all who helped make our vacation a once in a lifetime experience. I appreciate you all.

Excellent Overall Experience
An excellent overall experience ! Great for couples looking to simply getaway. Smaller resort which caters to attention to detail. No need to fight for spots on the beach or pool since there are enough for everyone. Rooms are extremely spacious. Staff is always with a smile at your attention. Diverse choice of food which always top notch. A shout out to Grisel and Chris who kept you entertained - if you wanted to but with no pressure. Experience a Gustavo special in Rick's bar - Great bartender! If I were to nit pick, time sell is an indirect pitch but kept discreet. A simply "not interested" and you are left alone. Outstanding
We stayed here for our 50th birthdays and our 25th wedding anniversary. We had a fantastic time. The resort is small and perfect. The grounds are wonderfully maintained and clean. Our room was quiet and right at the top. It could do with a little bathroom upgrade on the taps but it was spotless and very comfortable. Cleaned beautifully, daily. Thankyou. The entertainment staff were absolutely fantastic, inclusive, fun, kind and welcoming. Loved them all. , always saying hello as they passed by. Every member of staff were really outstanding and made you feel special. Again thankyou to everyone who works so hard. Stunning beach, great little gym. We felt safe and rested here. A heart felt gratitude to everyone at the resort as it is down to you, why this beautiful place is so successful.
