Nice high end resort
This is a fine high end resort at the far end of a very busy strip in Aruba. The guys at the beach do a wonderful job keeping it calm, and the swimming is lovely. My room was at the quiet end which I appreciated. Staff is friendly. Cabs took forever to come, after being told by the concierge I couldn't reserve one for the airport, becaus "they're always here." Definitely worth it if you want a full service resort and you can get a cheaper rate; not sure if I'd do the rack rate.

Can’t wait till next year
Another fabulous trip to Aruba as the hotel is kept spectacularly clean. The hotel was decorated in beautiful flowers throughout. The staff if so friendly with customer care. I could shout out to so many but specially Rachel, Saigri, Genesis at the front, Outside Gregory, Andrea,Mark Dylon Antoine Leonardo, Nathan and so many others are just wonderful. The food has gotten better and better each year. Just can’t wait till next year

What you should expect from a Ritz, but the beach area was VERY crowded.
I LOVE this hotel, but there was some minor draw backs. The rooms are plenty big. We got upgraded to an executive suite and it was too big for the two of us. The bedroom was plenty of room. The bathrooms are amazing. Now for the draw backs. The beach is nice. However it gets very crowded in the free lounges with umbrellas. It was so crowded that we rented a bimini. Since we did that, it was amazing. But is cost a lot. It was not a long walk to the shops and restaurants and it was good to walk on the beach to get there.

Check out Jose’s incredible drinks at the “Bus Stop” at the Ritz!
We had the most wonderful time with our family at the Ritz in Aruba. Our favorite part of our stay was JOSE’s incredible, delicious drink creations at the “Bus Stop” on the Ritz property right by the ocean! Jose created this adorable striped VW bus bar and he opens it every day to serve guests at the hotel. It’s gorgeous and he creates the most unique, fresh, amazing drinks (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic). Jose squeezes the fruit fresh every day to make the juices to put in the drinks. My watermelon/lime spicy mojito with fresh pineapple and jalapeño and Tajin with honey around the edge were literally the highlight of our trip and I’d return to the hotel just for these drinks! They were delicious and beautiful too. Jose was super friendly and welcoming and even my kids loved him and his fresh watermelon/pineapple juice. What a gem! Thanks for offering something like this at your property, Ritz Hotel! We had a wonderful time in Aruba at this gorgeous hotel and can’t wait to return next year!

Don’t go during holidays or School break unless you plan to wake up at 6:00am to get chairs or plan to sit next to local
Just got back from trip to Ritz Aruba with the family. I’m a Marriot titanium Elite member and last time I visited this hotel was 8 years ago prior to this trip. The hotel was sold out this past weekend and week for presidents week so it was very busy. I got down to the beach at 7:30am sharp the first morning to get beach chairs. By that time they were all reserved except for the last row furthest from the ocean, about 10 rows deep. I was advised they were opening the section to left which was empty so I grabbed some chairs there. I later found out that the locals bring their own chairs there and a Dj sets up all day there as well. In addition, the Ritz waiters SERVES the locals food and drinks as long as they pay with credit cards, so they were treated as guests just as we were, paying $1500 per night, unable to get beach chairs in the main section of the hotel!!!! I was livid. The little huts closest to the ocean are &250 per day for 4 chairs and have to be reserved in advance but were sold out for the Week!!!!!! I was advised, if we wanted chairs in the main section of the hotel to be down between 6:15am-7am!! What type of vacation is this?? We won’t be returning sadly during a holiday or school break.
