  Unforgettable Family Vacation Thanks to an Amazing Staff!

  Our family of eight finally had the chance to take our long-awaited vacation to Puerto Vallarta over the holidays, and it was truly a special experience! As Club Melia members, my husband and I love this destination for its stunning beaches and lush rainforest, but this trip was even more meaningful as we got to share it with all our adult kids. This was our first time experiencing Christmas in a tropical setting, and the resorts festive decorations and celebrations made it a unique and beautiful holiday. While we did have some miscommunication issues regarding our Melia Rewards Points on the corporate side which we are working on resolving, we have nothing but praise for the resort and its incredible staff! Their warmth, attentiveness, and exceptional service made our stay unforgettable. We were able to relax at the spa, which felt like a peaceful island retreat, enjoy the resorts entertainment, yoga classes and delicious food. Every moment was made better by the hospitality of the staff, who went above and beyond to make our family feel special. A huge thank you to Javier Vergars, Sergio Bernal, Yolotzin, and Karolina Garcia, your kindness and dedication truly made a difference in our experience. While some areas of the hotel could use updates, especially since we are accustomed to the elevated luxury of the Melia Paradisus, the outstanding service more than made up for it. Because of the amazing staff, we will absolutely be returning to create more joyful memories! Thank you to everyone who made our holiday vacation so wonderful!

  Good value - great staff

  I think the Melina P.V. is great value for your money. Great location - nice beach with an awesome view of the bay/PV. Staff is very friendly and helpful - special shout outs to Naria who helped us with check in and rooms; and Lao & Nabor who provided an awesome, fun and interesting mixology class. My only recommendation is to perhaps have it later in the afternoon- it was a little early in the day to be sampling all those delicious drinks.

  It was excellent! Amazing stay! The beach is amazing. The facilities are outstanding. Food is the best ever! Recommend it to all! Nice service, the staff is so friendly and helpful. Did I mention respectful? Please come and see for yourselves.

  First experience at Melia

  This resort is extremely clean & quiet. Our room was very spacious and well stocked with drinks & snacks. The best part of our stay was the service we received from Abel at the Mole & Tacos; it was the best we've ever experienced. We will definitely stay here again.

  Family Christmas Trip

  My husband and I stayed here from Jan 18 - Feb 1/25. The grounds are beautiful, plenty of pool chairs. Had a nice sandy spot to sit without being directly on the beach as well. You could see the whales from shore. Our visit started off a little rough as our room was not available until after 4:00 pm and the next day the room lost power and we had to move our things in the dark with flash lights. We were moved to a family room as that was all that was available. The next day, thanks to Alberto at customer service, we were given a beautiful ocean facing room on the 4th floor of building 1 with a jacuzzi on the balcony. Our kids and grandkids joined us from Jan 22-29, so there was a total of 14 in our group. They all had a great time. And the hotel had their rooms close together as we requested. The food in the buffet was good. Very fresh, but we found it a bit limited. I loved the omelette station for breakfast. Both Mole and The Fish house (2 a La Carte’s) were very good. It would have been nice to have a least 1 more option for a 2 week stay. Mexican fiesta night was also a big hit. The Mariachi bands were wonderful to listen to. We did know the hotel offered pickleball but it was not organized. You could sign out racquets and balls, but it was up to you to find other guests to play with. We had brought our own equipment and were lucky to be able to play with the Puerto Vallarta club that rented the courts 5 mornings a week. The hotel should offer pickleball packages to encourage groups to book at their hotel. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Special shout out to Alberto at Customer Service, Stephanie, Laury and Manuel at the front desk, Juan in the main buffet who was very attentive to our large group at dinner, Jesus at the pool bar and all of the staff in the lobby bar. You all went the extra mile for us.
