The all-inclusive option is well worth it
This resort was everything we hoped it would be. It was initially a little difficult figuring out how to book with the all-inclusive option because many sites didn't offer that as an option. When we arrived, we were given a bracelet and never paid for anything at the resort. The rooms were spacious, clean and modern. Equipped with a room safe, fridge, hairdryer. The beds were comfortable with quality bedding. The coffee maker hadn't been cleaned and had water sitting in it and a dead spider. There are several dining options, and we tried each restaurant at least once. Tierra y Fuego: steakhouse. Food was excellent. Starfish Grill: Buffet breakfast. We weren't impressed with the service here at other meals. The staff does not speak fluent English and took a long time to seat us or take orders. Staff is also not friendly. Asiana: Excellent Asian food. My sister had the tuna roll sushi and said it was the best she's ever had. The staff was very friendly and had great service. This was the best experience we had. Pacifica: buffet with several options. We especially loved the eggs to order station. Oregano Italian Deli: more casual, good pizza The pools are beautiful and clean, no problem getting pool towels or drinks. The resort is dog friendly, so it was not uncommon to see people with their dogs walking the beach. There are games such as a ping pong table and shuffleboard table outside that seemed to be very popular. Cons: Communication could really be improved. The hours of the restaurants would occasionally change but there was nothing posted on the doors or in the elevators. The New Year's Eve celebration was spectacular, and the resort went all out for it but not a word was posted anywhere or said to us at check in. There was no strip map of the resort. Unbelievably, it was somewhat difficult and tedious to get bottled water. There was no supply put out anywhere, so we constantly had to ask for some from the restaurants or bars. All in all, a very enjoyable stay and would highly recommend.

Definitely recommend
Well maintained property grounds. The all inclusive option was convenient. We liked dining at Asians restaurant in the night. Swimming pools and beach were fun. Front desk was responsive with issues that came up, though they were a bit slow because of holiday season.

Overrated, overprized
The hotel, rated five stars, does not truly meet expectations; at best, it deserves a four-star rating. The location is good, situated right on the beach. However, cleanliness is a concern: plastic caps, cans, and other trash are scattered around, indicating the beach is not cleaned regularly. The swimming pool also appeared dirty due to debris brought in from the patchy grassy areas surrounding it. The all-inclusive option does not cover all restaurants. At the coffee shop, we were told on the first day that only coffee and ice cream were included—not pastries. Two days later, ice cream was no longer included, and on the third day, we were informed that the coffee shop wasn’t part of the all-inclusive package at all. This inconsistent information was both confusing and frustrating. At the Starfish Grill à la carte restaurant, we reserved a table for dinner, but the manager insisted we had to pay. The front desk confirmed that the restaurant was included in our package, but we got the impression the manager was trying to take advantage of us. It’s hard to believe he didn’t know the restaurant was part of the all-inclusive plan. The TV in our room didn’t work, and we repeatedly asked the front desk to have it fixed over six days. Initially, they neglected to mention that we needed to be present when maintenance came. Even when we stayed in the room waiting, no one showed up. The bathroom sink was another issue; it took four days of daily complaints before maintenance finally resolved the problem.

EXCEPTIONAL 27 NIGHT STAY
I spent 27 nights as a Titanium Elite member at this wonderful property. The entire staff was excellent and so accommodating to every request that I had. I particularly want to single out several individuals that were particularly incredible: Valeria Smith, the guest relations coordinator went above and beyond for me throughout my stay. She was so helpful and friendly and responded to my requests with the utmost care and attention. Michael Ajuilero in the Pacifica Restaurant where I had breakfast every morning was absolutely exceptional with his kindness, sense of humor and service. I really appreciated him and he should be rewarded and recognized with a promotion. Also Alina (I don’t have her last name) was wonderfully nice and accommodating whenever I encountered her at breakfast at Pacifica. Finally, I must highlight the wonderful staff in the 19th floor concierge lounge who took care of me for almost a month. In particular Marilynn was superb with her kindness, warmth and superior service. She definitely should be considered for recognition and a promotion. Also Ezequiel and Jean Paul were both so helpful in welcoming me and accommodating me throughout my stay. I asked them many questions about things to do in Panama on my days off and they always had great ideas. Thank you all for an exquisite stay.

Amazing resort for kids
My 3 year old loved the pools and kids activities. The resort was clean and staff were great and very hospitable. Food was pretty good but we just at bar food by the pool. I would definitely recommend for a family who wants beach access and great swimming pools
