Puerto Morelos is a popular spot to put on some fins and jump in the water. But even if you don’t want to get wet, this fishing town is well worth a day trip. Located halfway between Cancun and Playa del Carmen, it’s less touristy, but still has plenty of amenities. It’s a laid-back, walkable town, with plenty of authentic Mexican charm.
