What are"Los Cabos"?
If you haven’t vacationed in Los Cabos before, you likely aren’t aware that there are two Cabos: Cabo San Lucas and San José del Cabo united as the Los Cabos Municipality. They are located on the southern tip of the Baja California Peninsula and are also known as “Land’s End”. Los Cabos are a different breed of Mexico which makes them even more special. Discover why vacationers spend the most time away from their resorts in Los Cabos.
Cabo San Lucas
This city is west of San José del Cabo and is far more commercial as well as the big brother of the two. El Arco, a distinctive rock formation at the southern tip, is a signature sight in Cabo San Lucas. This city is a great getaway if you’re looking for an upbeat trip with plenty of nightlife. It’s known for its public marina, nightclubs, bar-hopping, and designer shopping. The Pacific side of Mexico is a lot different than the Caribbean side; there are few beaches that are swimmable due to the intense waves and rocky coastline. However, this doesn’t stop vacationers from enjoying the water!
