Fall is officially here, and while temperatures start to drop, the fashion thermometer only gets hotter. Whether you’re planning a trip to cooler destinations or warm, sunny beaches, I’ve got this season’s hottest tips for travel style.
White Out. Winter white was all over the runway for the fall season. That means we’re in luck, because the old-school rule, “no white after Labor Day” is out the window. For those of you heading to cooler climates like London or New York, do white right by sticking to heavier fabrics like wool. For warmer vacations, you can still break out that cotton and linen.
Love Leather. Most of us probably own leather gloves, shoes or handbags, but this fall, leather is not just for accessories. Look for leather skirts, tops – even dresses! And don’t just stick to black. Go for colored leathers, too. If you’re heading to a warm destination, leather skirts and dresses are great for evenings out on the town.
Winter Blues. This fall, blue is the “it” color. Look for everything from peacock to cobalt in tops, jackets, statement coats and dresses. This is a great color no matter where you’re going on vacation. So go ahead, get the winter blues this year (in your closet, that is!).
There you have it, ladies! Use these tips to travel in style this season.
