Guests to Disney’s Animal Kingdom® merely have to cross the park’s Discovery River to transfer lightyears away — and enter the world of Pandora. Based on Oscar-winning filmmaker James Cameron’s hit AVATAR, the lush world of Pandora features both dramatic daytime landscapes of floating mountain ranges and lush ethereal rainforests in the Valley of Mo’oara. Then visitors can prepare themselves for radiant dreamlike experiences with bioluminescent flora at night. Exploring this new world is immersive and dramatic enough on its own — but guests to Pandora can discover even more through two expeditions: the Na’vi River Journey or the Avatar Flight of Passage.
Na’vi River Journey
Treat your senses to a journey down the sacred river deep into the bioluminescent rainforest. Embrace the musical Na’vi ceremony, delight in the exotic glowing plants and treasure an encounter with the Na’vi Shaman of Songs sending her energy into the forest.
Avatar Flight of Passage
Hop on the back of a mountain banshee and feel the wind in your face. Then embrace the rush of adrenaline as you charge into a face-off with the most feared predator in Pandora, the Great Leonopteryx.
