What makes Weddings by Funjet special? Our team! Every month we will introduce a new member of our team for you to get to know us a little better.
What is your favorite thing about working for Weddings by Funjet?
The emphasis on wellness in all facets of life.
What led you to become an accommodations specialist?
I worked part time at a 5-star hotel, and I used it as a means to improve my customer service skills that could be used as bedside manner in a medical position. I ended up not leaving the travel industry, and instead found passion for it, and decided to advance from there. After 4 years providing 5-star customer service on the hotel side of things, I joined the Funjet team!
Where is your dream vacation spot?
Athens and Santorini, Greece.
Which celebrity do you wish to have dinner with?
Paul Rudd.
What is your top destination wedding must-have for all of our couples out there?
A group excursion is a great way to break the ice and bring people together to create a fun memory before the big day celebration.
What is your favorite time of year, and why?
Spring, I love the new life that comes out of Winter. Plus, it isn't really hot outside yet and by the time Spring comes around I am ready to enjoy the fresh outdoors again.
When you go to a coffee shop you are most likely to order…
Nothing, I am not a coffee drinker, but I love the smell!
Tell us about your family and/or fur babies.
I come from a very large, crazy family. I am the oldest of 7 kids, plus 2 step siblings. One of my brothers also has 5 kids of his own with his wife, so I love to spend a lot of time with my nieces and nephews, even though they wear me out. Growing up in a hectic environment has allowed me to hone skills to concentrate, remain calm and function in chaotic situations.
Favorite sports teams?
Green Bay Packers.
When is your birthday?
November 23rd.
What is your secret hidden talent?
I'm really good at sewing.
Favorite movies?
Pride & Prejudice (2005) & The Awful Truth (1937).
What is your best travel memory?
Climbing the pyramid at Coba. It was a very tough thing to do and gets very tiring quickly, but once you get up to the top it's so worth it, and definitely something to do again while they still allow people to climb it.
If could choose my last meal to eat, it would be…
This is a hard one since it would really depend on what I'm craving at the time. But based on how I feel in this moment, I would say tacos.
When I was a child, I wanted to grow up to be…
A doctor.
The most rewarding thing about planning a wedding is…
When you see it all come together in the end. All of the pieces come together to create this fantastic memory and experience for everyone, especially the couple.
Where did you go to college and what was your major?
Biology at Lakeland University (previously Lakeland College).
