  • Airport

    Two airports are recommended for guests who are traveling to Samaná. Las Américas International Airport (SDQ) is the first choice for most travelers, as it is a major airport for the Dominican Republic. The airport is about 1-2 hours away from Samaná. The second choice for travelers to choose from is a smaller airport, Presidente Juan Bosch International Airport (AZS). Although it is located about 30 minutes away from Samaná, it isn't easy to find a suitable flight to this port of entry.
  • Immigration & Customs

    The Dominican Republic requires a $20 USD departure tax that's typically included in your airfare. Typically, during your flight, the flight attendant will give you your customs paperwork to fill out on the plane. After you've made it through the immigration desk and grabbed your luggage from baggage claim, you'll go to claims, where officers may check your bags. 
  • Getting to Your Resort
