  What an awesome resort!

  What a wonderful resort! The newly renovated rooms are beautiful. The staff -- particularly Stéphan and Clémence -- made our stay perfect. They are so friendly, hospitable, and viewed their job as making sure our every need was met. The restaurant staff, "beach boys", and the cleaning staff had the same friendly, positive, helpful attitude. On the beach, the chaise lounges have thick pads as well as beach umbrellas set up for us every day by the "beach boys". The beachfront, open-air restaurant serves breakfast and lunch and has magnificent views and superb food. Or, if you choose, the beach boys will bring drinks and lunch to your beach chaises. New this year is Le Gourmet restaurant serving excellent French cuisine at dinner time. The beach is in a cove surrounded by mountains on three sides with a view of Anguilla in the distance. This is arguably the most beautiful and peaceful beach, not only in Saint Martin, but in all of the Caribbean. There is an area off to the right which rents ski-doos and other innovative devices for water activities. There are three additional restaurants and a few shops within easy walking distance of the resort right next to a marina where you can charter a boat for a full day, half day, or sunset cruise. In less than 15 minutes you can drive, or take a taxi, to the small beach town of Grand Case which is known as the "Gastronomic Capital of the Caribbean". There are of loads restaurants there (many are beachfront) which are beyond excellent. Dinner prices may be a bit high, but it's worth every penny. There are even a few lolos with excellent local cuisine at reasonable prices. But it is the Anse Marcel Beach Resort itself (with its excellent staff) that is the pièce de résistance of our vacation on Saint Martin. We will be back again next year to this resort on a beach which is an awesome little slice of God's creation.

  Luxuriate and relax in Anse Marcel

  Beautiful property - but it’s in a rather secluded area so don’t expect to walk around or see too much unless you cab around or drive. But the beach is gorgeous and there are 2 restaurants - both serving delicious food. . Rooms spacious and fully equipped. Perfect for relaxing and luxuriating! Staff helpful especially Virgil! (Tell the taxi it’s the hotel next to Secrets)

  Fantastic location

  Nice hotel right on the beach, sun loungers are included for those staying at the hotel, however, you have to book the day before. Nice and reasonable breakfast, however, they take the breakfast away at 10:00 sharp, which can be a bit frustrating. There is a really good restaurant in the area called Le Gourmet, which we highly recommend. Also a beach bar at the far end of the area with really nice bartenders. Overall, the staff was really good and service-minded. We would especially like to praise Virgil at the reception for his exceptional service. We stayed in a large room on the top floor and the only thing we can see as a disadvantage was that the beds were very hard.

  Excellent experience, will definitely be back

  Beautiful and quiet location. We loved the resort and beach, the staff was professional and very helpful. We had a great time at Le Domaine Ance Marcel. The room was always well cleaned. Virgil, one of the resort managers, was very professional and friendly, he greeted us, gave us a tour of the resort, and gave us all the information we needed to feel comfortable. We will definitely be back.

  Agree with positive reviews, disagree with negative

  I won't repeat what has been written in the positive reviews, believe them, I experienced the same. As far as the negative reviews: the seaweed (there wasn't much of it when we went) was cleaned off in the evening by hand. We saw some sort of machine tracks that passed over the beach overnight. Le Gourmet serves dinner, the food was delicious and service attentive. It's possible that we were just lucky with the room, there does seems to be some active updating going on. Our room was beautifully decorated with modern amenities. Couples and families with young children can't go wrong staying here.
