Pickleball and Tennis was our favorite!

My Mom and I had a great time staying at the Biltmore before Christmas! We joined into the Brenden’s pickleball and tennis clinics. Everyone was super friendly and the instructor was great. We played every day we were there! Highly recommend:)

Solid Hotel, Could Have Been Better

I really want to give this hotel 4.5 circles, but that's not a choice, so 4 it is. This hotel was close to being perfect, but there were a few things that kept it from getting that perfect 5. Starting with checkin, it was a very pleasant experience, quick and efficient, but the woman at the desk failed to mention that we were upgraded (and failed to mention that the new room had two queens instead of a single king). This wasn't a problem, just an odd miss in the process. The room was very nice and the view of the mountains was great, we were in the terrace wing. But the terrace wing itself had some oddities. We were on the third floor and the elevator was a bit creepy, seeming very old, dark, and worn. On top of that, the hallways on the third floor lacked the beauty and polish of the other buildings. Before arrival we were contacted by the concierge team, they were great and very helpful with recommendations. They asked if we were celebrating anything and I shared that we were going to be there for my birthday. They noted that. Despite this, nothing was done on the property to recognize my birthday, not even a comment at check in or a card. Weird miss for sure. Everything else at the hotel was quite nice. The staff was overall very friendly and helpful. The pools were lovely. The food was good. The spa was nice. So overall a solid hotel, just not one that's perfect and I don't think is currently living up to the price point that it's charging.

    Corporate Event Focused

Issues with room not addressed. Maintenance staff of 18 truly undersized for a hotel of close to 800 rooms. Front desk staff and maintenance staff bombarded daily and therefore have lost energy to address non convention issues. Citrus room staff was phenomenal!

    We'll be back!

One of our favorite locations. The remodeled room we were in was nice and comfortable with a great view of the mountains. Wonderful staff and stay. We will be back for sure. The only thing we were disappointed in this trip was the food and drinks, at least at the outdoor bar. We definitely did not get the quality of food and drink you would expect for the top dollar price they charge.

Very nice but much more of a party vibe from when it was a Waldorf.

We stayed here in room 4331 (The Terrace building) for 5 nights from 1/7 to 1/12/25. It is our third stay here (2 when it was a Waldorf our first under the new LXR brand} The hotel is beautiful with great architecture and landscaping. The rooms are well appointed. The Terrace building has it's own small pool, hot tub and courtyard area. Our room was good sized, had a nice sized balcony, big bathroom with lots of counterspace and a shower and a tub) . There was a Nespresso machine, fridge, small table area and a decent sized TV. Overall the room decor was very nice. Note 1: the room is about a quarter mile (one way) walk from the lobby and restaurant. Note 2: the wall between your balcony and room 4329's is very low. We had the guest in 4329 leap over it and on to our balcony to get a "better picture". We felt a bit unsafe after this happened and can't imagining this happening when the hotel was a Waldorf. If you are with a group, I'd recommend booking both 4329 and 4331, so you'll know who shows up on your balcony. The staff is very good to excellent (esp. housekeeping and the front desk). They provide nightly turndown service as well as standard housekeeping. Compared to our stays here when it was a Waldorf, we found the resort much busier (lots of business meetings/events) and having a much stronger party vibe. It did not seem as relaxing or family friendly as before. If you are looking for the Waldorf vibe you will be disappointed, if you want a luxury party spot you will love it here.
