My wife and I went on a fishing charter this morning and ended up catching some mahi and tuna. The guide cleaned the fish for us but we didn’t have a place to cook it ourselves. We decided to take it back to the hotel and ask if they would cook it for us tonight. This wasn’t an option on the menu but they asked the chef Marshelo and he said he would be happy to do it. We told him how we would like it to be cooked and they cooked it better than we could have even imagined! Also the services from Lakysha and Jennifer was amazing. This was one of the best dining experiences of my life. I’m so glad we picked this place to stay!

Gorgeous beachfront hotel with great service
Avila is an amazing place to stay, has a gorgeous beachfront for relaxing and enjoying yourself! Shout out to Sheldon, the bartender at Schooner! Wonderful service, makes a great pina colada and helps you feel welcome! Thank you!

The trip to caracao was wonderful, we want to come back soon.
Breakfast everyday at the pen. The experience was so wonderful because of two wonderful ladies (Carina and Aisheline) Avila beach resort has two treasures in those two ladies. Our trip was so much better because of them. We will miss them.

Nailstreat
Myara and Chantille gave the nicest pedicure and manicure. Such a Nice afternoon, and chat with wonderful women. I recomment it a lot❤️😊

Paradise
The property is gorgeous. It’s the oldest hotel on the island close to everything but we found we never wanted to stray very far. Our room was large with a sweet veranda that was steps from a beach that was blue and sandy. Lots of chairs and cabanas, two beaches secluded by big rocks to snorkel. A large pool, the Pen restaurant that sits on the beach that serves a magnificent breakfast. We also had a delicious dinner there as well. Quiet. We visited Mambo Beach up the road but were happy to return to the austere dignified quiet we needed. Willemstad is within walking distance but the hotel has a bus that comes and goes twice a day. The staff is amazing and very accommodating. Carina was our favorite. We spent 10 days here in December and we are planning our next trip in 2026.
