    Please dont waste your money

Where do I even begin? The staff barely spoke any English, which made communication difficult. Most of the activities were geared toward very young children, and my son is 8 years old. The food was awful, and the staff was incredibly unfriendly—every time I asked a question, I felt like I was bothering them. I tried to book dinner at the restaurants right when I arrived, but everything was already fully booked. I complained to the concierge, but they didn’t do much to help. They ended up booking me for ridiculously late dinner times, like 9:30 p.m. Who wants to eat that late? Ordered food from room service and it arrived cold. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, and I definitely won’t be staying there again.

    Worst place for vegetarian people.

Worst service by admin staff. Worst food options for vegetarian people. Even not helpful to book restaurants for vegetarian people. Their app shows reservation is full. But when you go there it's empty and still they don't want to provide food to you. Definitely Noone should ever go there, particularly vegetarian people. Also don't get fool by their o e hour free activity. You will waste your 3 hours to book the activity and still not worth

Pretty resort but food safety issues.

This resort was very lovely, the pools were great and the beach was clean and although busy, you could always find a spot. The service on the beach was fair. They seemed to only have one person taking drink orders. The room was nice enough. Mine was clean and comfortable except the bed was a bit too firm. The first night I got back to my room there was a huge bug on the floor which I wasn’t sure if it was a cockroach or not. I took a picture and the others in my group thought it may be some kind of water bug so I just forgot about it. The next night however, when I got to my room, there was a couple more of these bugs, and again I killed them and went to bed. The third night I came back from the beach and there was two crawling around the coffee machine and they definitely looked like cockroaches. I killed them as well and then I went into the bathroom and saw another one crawling on the bathroom sink area where my toothbrush was. It was late and the next morning I was leaving for an all day excursion. When I got back, I told the concierge that my room had bugs and I wanted to get a new room. She said oh don’t go back to your room for a couple hours and we will fumigate. And I said no I do not want to go back to the room with chemicals in it and chemicals all over my stuff as my grandson was also with us and I really didn’t want him to get sick. The other concierge said no no no we will get you a new room. I was told to pack up all my stuff and someone would come get my bags and take me to my new room which was fine. The new room was basically the same but there were no signs of bugs at any time or for the rest of the time I was there. No one in our party of 44 had bugs in their room, so maybe it was just a one of. Many of our members of our party tried different restaurants including myself but there was nothing overly special about them and they agree with other reviews that the food wasn’t always the hottest. Although the food was really good at the buffet, there are many serious issues related to safety. One of group members ended up having to take her EpiPen and going to the hospital for an allergic reaction from the Buffet. I think you’re risking your life eating at the buffet. There were never enough serving spoons for each dish. I believe that cross-contamination is rampant considering they had fish beside veggies and meat and only maybe two or 3 tongs for each station. They were also cooking meat and seafood on the same hot plates. Activities were non-existent There were a few things for the kids at night like kid karaoke and dancing plus jugglers in the lobby during the day but not much for adults as far as I could see. There were lots of mosquitoes and bugs that bite you. Be prepared to be covered in bites and welts. The resort store ran out of bug spray so bring your own. I gave this resort a 3 but would give it a 2 1/2 if I could. Although the kids loved the pools, water slides, and castle there are issues with the bugs, food, and entertainment.

We enjoyed except this one big issue!!!

Overall we liked this resort. Can the rooms could be cleaner and newer, yes, can the food can be hotter yes, but overall we enjoyed ourselves. HOWEVER!!, please be aware the bugs and the bites that come after are horrible!!! no bug spray works at all, we were all bitten all over our bodies, even through the bug spray, and the aftermath of the itching and swelling are unbearable, the children had bites all over them and made for a miserable sleep on the already uncomfortable bed as we were all in pain, I had medication for the itches and they did not help at all. Just be aware.

Exceptional service from the following staff-Dilcia- pool side- my glass was never empty. Eduard, Albert and Greiny-buffet. They make sure i was seated in their section and I get to enjoy all the local fruits and cuisines. Yandira from house keeping, you are a true professional, my room was alway near and neat. Keep up the great work, hope to see you all when I return in 6 months.
