For the lively, the night doesn't end, the party continues in the Bachata Discotheque until 2 in the morning.

Feb 20, 2025Fantastic Vacation!
We had an amazing vacation! The resort and rooms were very clean, the grounds were well cared for and the resort layout was great! Super quick and easy to get around. The food was good at the buffet (a lot of choice). Had two great meals at the A La Cartes, especially the Gourmet. Kitchen and serving staff was fantastic at all locations. Being nice and acknowledging the staff goes a long way. We are beach people and spent the majority of our week there. A lot of chairs and no difficulty getting a palapa if you're there early enough. My only slight disappointment is the lack of water clarity but we knew that after reading other reviews before hand. The purple flag was up at the lifeguard tower all week indicating jellyfish warning but we were in and out of the sea water everyday and never encountered any and neither did our surrounding beach goers. Special shout out to Mary and Jose at the beach bar! Great service and pleasant chats. The pool is beautiful and well laid out even though we didn't spend much time there. Again, we like the quiet beach. Junior B is great entertainer and pretty funny. Overall, a fantastic vacation and beautiful weather. Exactly what we were looking for.

We stayed at this hotel for a week in a junior suite with friends. I can not fault the experience we had. The hotel was clean, and the grounds and pools and beaches were maintained on a constant basis. The food in the buffet was varied, fresh, and so much choice. The hotel also boasts 3 themed restaurants plus a snack beach bar. These were easy for us to book on arrival. We also took advantage of a perfect valentines evening meal set up on the beach. The hotel offers lots of activities and a great entertainment team (Alfred being great at activities round the pool). The staff were all friendly and always smiling and helpful, a mention for Wandi in the restaurant who gave such attention. The daiquiri bar staff need a mention for their great service. The hotel has a separate adults only complex and also has a disco till late, casino , shosp, and gym. We had a fantastic week and highly recommend a stay at this hotel.

A lovely stay
An excellent stay still here for three more days. The place is a little ran down but the staff and the food make up for this. The rooms need an upgrade a little bit they are still very grand. The food is so impressive and the restaurant on top are excellent

Still here. Paid for 2 Ocean Front rooms. One room was ocean view at best. Got moved to Ocean Front but AC does not work in new room. Room 2 smells like raw sewage. Gave us a room to sleep in for the night while they see what is going on. People work hard to save money to ho on vacation only to have it ruined by the worst resort I have ever been to, and I have been to many. Stay away and spend your many elsewhere. So far neither the hotel not Air Canada Vacations have stepped up to do anything.

Is it a 5 star.? Few things let it down, constantly no hot water for shower, bath towels bit on small side, air con very noisey even on lowest setting, cutlery in speciality restaurants not the greatest, no steak knives, no lobster crackers or lobster pick, even thou its £70 extra for a meal for 2, quality of food in 3 extra restaurants marginally better than buffet food, no hot plates in main buffet an the food is not hot at all no matter how early you eat, no alcoholic drinks after 1qpm apart from disco, that closes at 2am, no drinks anywhere after this, so it is not 24hr all inclusive, good points, we had ocean front suite, fantastic view, nice clean beaches, lovely big pool swim up bar, nice an clean, alcoholic drinks very good if you keep away from the very sweet cocktails, beer is presidente good but only served in half pints, lot of staff expect to be tipped, cliental mostly Spanish & Canadian, stayed from 4th of February for a week, after a cruise (same kind of faults have been happening for over a year, hotel as done nothing to address this especially the barely warm food)
