Grounds 5star Rooms 3 star Food 3star Lobby buffet restaurants smell so bad of sewage they should be closed Sunbeds at pools and beach reserved with towels the night before the morning after causing un needed stress and often never sat on or occupied. Stayed in other Punta Cana resorts, granted a bit dearer ££ but you certainly get what you pay for as far this complex is concerned. Cost 20% less but felt 100% worse off!!

The Resort is really the five star quality with excellent internal organization,food,night entertainment,beach.The only remark is that there are not enough sun umbrellas beside the beach and pools,so about two thirds of beds are exposed to sun or rain.

Second fabulous holiday here…
What a lovely, well organised, pleasant, friendly hotel with abundant facilities. We came back for a second holiday here as we enjoyed it so much last year. It has everything you could hope for to have a fabulous holiday. The pools, food options, drinks, rooms, facilities and staff are all top notch. My only advice would be to take some really good mosquito repellent as we got a lot of bites despite the hotel spraying. The location is great and although the other hotels on the overall complex make the site big, it’s not overpowering… I and my 18 year old daughter well recommend!

first time @ Punta Cana and this disgusting, horrible in this I won't call it Resort, is more a Motel star 1! 6 days and I will need a notebook to write all the nightmare, first the room the bathroom tub mold, yes mildew I have to get myself this was the 2nd day the cleaning lady & explain what she needs to do to take the mildew out! the buffet average, I eat better at the mall, the guess service specially Yailin with attitude to us, & the manager was next to her, I was speechless. did I recommend this please no one stay in this motel the towels dirty, dingy, with holes. yes a MOTEL.

Bahia Principe Grand Punta Cana Resort - do not recommend
Cons- -Terrible language barrier when it comes to English. -No room service -Poor customer service @ reception -Doesn't go above and beyond (asked for a Towel before 830 am and was told they couldn't help me and to call back at 830) -booked an excursion and we had no water bottles in room and needed one for the day, I walked to the receptionist and was told they only provide water bottles for our rooms and if I want one I have to buy it) -no outlets near bed -only 1 set of drawers - makes it hard for 2 people. -no sea shells -chips/guacamole and salsa are not the best -food is ok -have physical cards and not wristband cards... also the cards messed up several times. -they have Towel cards and was never told, until a guest informed us. -staff is NOT friendly Pros- -I loved how they offered free kayaks and other similar items available to rent -constant tram rides to and from places around the resort -lots of shopping - Clean beach and pools -beautiful water -drinks are good Will never attend another Bahia resort
