    Gran Bahia Principe Tulum feedback

    1. Hard to use their website when booking a stay, when making changes, when booking airport pickup, and when checking out. Not user friendly. 2. Man behind the excursion/shuttle desk at the Tulum lobby was impolite and has an attitude problem. 3. Shiny floor tiles at the Tulum lobby is very slippery when it rains. 4. Check-in process at the lobby was painfully slow. 5. Bathrooms have no shower curtains (water splatters all over) and no towel bars to hang towels after used. 5. Food is good at Yukatan Buffet, Don Pablo, and Thali. Restaurant staff, tram staff and bellboys were friendly and helpful.

    Great week in Tulum!

    My partner and I just got back from a week trip to Bahia Principe Grand Tulum. We had a fabulous time and are already planning our next vacation. I was a bit scared after reading all of the negative reviews on here but we had no complaints! The staff were hardworking and friendly, the buffet was varied and delicious, the drinks were NOT watered down (🫣), it was clean, and our room was great with very powerful AC.

    Excelled T

    Very nice people, service is excellent, lots of activities to do around the pool great for all ages, swim up bar was great the bar tender always smiling and friendly. The guides for ATV were amazing and professional. The instructors for swimming with the Dolphins were amazing.

    Beach experience poor water clarity

    Negatives Dumping dirty silt into the sea making the beach unsuitable Not enough drinks bars Nighttime entertainment for 1 hour 9pm until 10 pm Truck beach bar food cold Buffet experience food served cold Animal poo on tables Food time like a bun fight Drink service very slow Reception area terrible service Good points Use the refurbished rooms as our first one was like something from the 90 s Location amazing 4th visit to Mexico and this was by far the worst of our visits. Price point high. Will not be staying again

    Excellent stay

    We stayed here for two weeks for our honeymoon and it couldn’t have been better. I am a disabled traveller with a wheelchair and a feeding tube and the hotel is nicely accessible with large rooms. I forgot the charger for my feeding pump and Abraham from guest services went above and beyond trying to source one for me. I think he must have called every hospital, medical centre and supplier in Quintana Roo! Sadly there wasn’t one available, but Abraham couldn’t have tried harder. Abraham’s service continued throughout the holiday assisting with restaurant bookings and just being generally a lovely chap. Thanks for making our Honeymoon Abraham
