  Lovely experience

  I have not done all inclusive in a long time, i was a bit apprehensive. I thought it was excellent value for money. I thought the hotel was lovely. I thought the food was good and I am a picky eater. The staff were fabulous. I had a problem and one of the managers Jesus, dealt with it personally, nothing was a problem to him, really professional guy. The entertainment team does some amount of work, those guys are trying to entertain all the time and they deserve massive credit for the effort they put in. Great experience.

  I would come back

  The room is great, but a bit outdated, tv is small, bed is super comfortable, the AC was on all the time, we couldn't turn it off. We stayed far from the pools and it was really quiet at night, the service is 10. the gym is 2-3. the food is really good. The gardens and the pools are 10, the only thing is that if you want to relax keep in mind that during the day there is no place where you don't hear the music. and it is cumbia and bachata and conga all day. after a few days I found myself dancing or traying to get away. There is too many people but you don't notice. that was great, the beach and the services around are 9. we had fun and enjoy it very much. also bring your own medicine. tyenol is around 9 dollars in the market and 34 if you ask to front desk.

  Non-English hotel with average food and unfortunately no entertainment

  Teaching the staff English at least at the basic level of a first grade elementary school child. Unfortunately, reception and customer service are not enough, because as a customer I need to communicate primarily with the regular staff who serve, clean, and more. And your entertainment team is the most amateur team I have ever experienced. Even 17 years ago in Egypt 4* they were at a higher level. Above all, if the staff is not doing guided activities at the given times, they don't even greet you and act like you don't exist. This really doesn't belong in such a hotel. One could have more reservations, unfortunately, for me to return to the hotel, just cleanliness and average food are not enough. The whole hotel is in perfect order, nothing is lying around anywhere, the air conditioning in the room is weaker but with the propeller above the bed it is fully sufficient. Cleaning is okay. The rooms are very old and there was a malfunction a few times but everything was resolved immediately, even the room change took place the next day without any problems. The food was perfect for the first few days, then repetitive, but in the al Carte restaurants 5 times free per stay makes this much more pleasant. Unfortunately, they can't prepare some basic dishes, but overcooked, tough chicken is probably to someone's taste. Alcoholic drinks are European, so you're completely satisfied. The beach is constantly being cleaned, the sea is perfect. Compared to other hotels, the activity tour promoters are not so intrusive. Nobody wants a tip, they'll tell you about it elsewhere. There were a few bad situations, but the hotel probably can't be held responsible for the individual.

  BEWARE OF BEDBUGS!!! BAHIA WILL NOT REFUND ME!!!

  During my stay at the Bahia Principe Turquesa resort in Punta Cana, I received bedbug bites. I developed spots all over my body during my stay, which required medical attention. Attached you will find pictures of the bites on my body. Requested a full refund along with my diagnosis from my doctor and the customer service said that they will not refund me because they believed that I had "sand bug bites" in their words. I am highly disappointed and disgusted. I will never book with Bahia ever again! 0/10.

  I've stayed at better places in the Domincan

  If you don't speak Spanish, I would not recommend staying here. What little english they spoke was not enough to understand what was going on. Many staff members didn't even acknowledge our presence (even a bueno días would be fine). Many other staff members didn't know where the amenities of the resort were. We wandered aimlessly around the grounds looking for the restaurant that we had reservations at. We were given a "no" when we asked multiple staff if they knew where a certain restaurant was. Having said that, some staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The woman at the "guest experience" desk, upon realizing we were hopelessly lost walked us to our restaurant. She was amazing. Another staff member that made us feel at home was Maleny, the hostess at our buffet. She stood out as a great example of how the staff should interact with customers.
