    If you are looking for long walks on the beach this is not the place. No access to reg beach. If that is not a concern it is a great spot.Felt very safe

    Great Experience

    Rooms were spacious and staff was courteous and attentive. Food was very good. Pools were clean. We went during a weekday and it was not to busy, which was great. The evening show is a nice perk, they also have a kids show. My kids loved it, My whole family had a great experience.

    Ernesto Chavez (Reception clerk) worst

    He mocked me and my sister for being “foreigners” Note: I am Mexican And fluent in both English and Spanish. (He looked over to his coworkers rolled his eyes And told her that we didn’t get it because we were “Extranjeras” I have never had to write a bad review in my life. But this one clearly deserved it. I made sure to get his name even. I have never been treated this way in any of my stays anywhere around the world.

    One of the most beautiful resort we have stayed

    One of the most pleasant experience we have had. We have spent three months at the Barcelo Karmina in Manzanillo from January 3rd till April 3rd. The staff has been amazing, very friendly, eager to please you. We have had a specious Premium level pent house room, specious, full of ocean view with big balcony. The room also had two cable tvs so we were able to watch American Chanels . The beach is walking distance( one minute walk) and the gym is well equipped . We will gladly return to this beautiful resort.

    6 day stay

    We had a great time at the Barcelo. The doorman was a great help, with our questions. The bar and restaurant staff were very friendly, even though we don't speak much Spanish, they were always friendly. The evening shows were great, the singers, dancers, and musicians all enjoyed performing and did a great job every night. Michael Jackson show was very good.
