Do not stay here

I booked my wedding trip here 8 months in advance and made a mistake in my booking details. This hotel REFUSES to give me a refund or alter my reservation. It's sad because I was going to have all my wedding guests stay here for that week but since their customer service isn't interested in helping me alter a reservation that's in DECEMBER I will not be referring any of my wedding guests here. What a terrible experience.

Not our first time and it we can't wait to go back.

The thing I love most about Barcelo is the excellent staff and how they go out of their way to make your stay the best it can be. A huge shout out to Norma, Jazmin and Beatriz in the lobby. What great, friendly servers! Another HUGE shout out to Sandra Villegas in the Premium lounge. When she saw us coming she went straight to work on making us Americano's! She is a sweetie! Another huge shoutout to Megumy Garcia, in reception. She helped us long before we arrived and we really appreciated her attention! When we got to the resort, we were excited to meet her and she greeted us with a huge smile and was warm and friendly. Sophia Ramirez checked us in and she was so helpful with reservations.

One choice of beer for all 4 of the connected resorts. Unexceptable. Room was not stocked consistently. Some days you got coffee packets. Some days you got the refridg stocked. Some days you got bottle of water.

Highly recommend

We had an amazing stay! Our swim out room was beautiful, the pools and beach inviting and immaculate. Excellent buffet food, and fantastic restaurants- the service was great, Kayla at the French restaurant and Oscar at the Mexican restaurant gave great service. Our concierge Aurora was so kind and personable and gave great recommendations! Our couples massage was very relaxing! And we very much enjoyed the nightly entertainment!
