    Good experience at Tropical

    Our second trip to barcelo. We enjoyed the food, service was pretty good considering the amount of people at these hotels. The pools were enjoyable but we did miss the adults only pool option as the Palace had. Overall we had a relaxing trip and will consider revisiting

    Nice Place and overall a good trip

    We were a group of six and Overall, we had good trip. Rooms were clean and bed was comfortable. The beach was okay, but the Ocean and Turtles were amazing. Swam with the Dolphins - excellent. Food was good. Complaints - drink service was slow at most bars. Double standard on dress code at Japanese restaurant. We were turned away for not wearing pants, but ladies can wear cut off jean shorts, tank tops and flip flops.

    We will return !

    We loved our stay! The close proximity of our room to the pool and the beach was a highlight. The food was fantastic! Wait times during check in could use some attention but everything else made up for it . We will return for sure!

    Awesome resort!

    This resort was awesome! It's a huge resort lots to do and see.The beach is rocky bring water shoes! Food at buffet was ok, and the a la Cartes were very good the service everywhere was amazing the workers are very attentive loved it. We had a premium room ground floor very close to pools great location it was a little musty smelling i know to bring damp next time I go. The double decker bus was fun to ride if you get tired of walking.The mall was great lots of shops and vendors at the market. Strikers was played mini golf they have an arcade bowling as well lots to do for kids! Overall a great resort we are already planning to come back next year!

    Great place to take the family

    Bring a snorkel. There were sea turtles. If you are not “preferred” it is almost impossible to get a reservation at the a-la-cart restaurants. Try to reserve as soon as you arrive. Too many people reserve their loungers by the pool and in the beach early and don’t show up for many hours so get there early if you want one. Lots of activities for families.
