Beautiful resort, amazing staff and so family friendly!
This is our 8th time coming to Barcelo Maya Grand resort and we just love it. The beach, the pools, activities can’t be beat. The best thing about this resort is the amazing staff! Natividad Mendez in the Capri restaurant was amazing, so efficient and friendly and the food was delicious. We visited the Beach buffet for dinner a few nights and we met Jorge Caamal and Gilberto Perez, serving team extraordinaire!! We had such fun with them, great service and really friendly. So great with our kids! What was especially wonderful were two servers in the Colonial buffet that remember us every year we go there, Flora and Mahelly❤️. These two are truly the BEST!! I can’t wait to go again and them. So friendly, remembered our drink orders everyday and so good with the kids. I miss them already. Can’t wait to go back 😊

Great great holiday all the way around!
An amazing experience from the beach to the hotel experience. Great great e variety of food art the buffets. The a la carte restaurants wow! Can’t say a bad thing but GOOD things!!! The staff were pleasant and very friendly all the time. The beach is really good! Clear Caribbean waters great for snorkeling. The Barcelo complex has everything you can imagine, even Go karts and a very good sports bar. If you like CENOTES, right in front across the highway you’ll find the cenotes route with many many cenotes to go to!

Family Trip
Resort was beautiful, the food was less then desirable, but the ala carte, was good, book, your reservations early, as restaurants are small. Bars are great, be ready to drink if that is your thing, and bring plenty of swim suits and soft towels. Towels are hard and casino is small.

pleasantly surprised
Great get away value for money. very clean across the hotels many amenities. Buffets were well attended to , lots of choice in food, kept clean and stocked. Pools were amazing and great service at the bars. we were surprised how it was connected to the other barcelo's (our first time in mexico and a barcelo) that we could walk the beach or paths to all barcelo's -- that was great and use other facilities. Weather was good as we were still in a hurricane timeperiod that left it humid so kept our fans/a/c going in room to keep it comfortable and dry. Sleep was difficult as beds worn in, but slept on chairs in sunshine to offset. It was definitely relaxing, and what we wanted out of a hotel and trip.

Great resort
Great resort for both adults and families. Lots to do. Stay at one and have access to 4. It feels like one bug resort. Service is great, the staff really try to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. There are lots of lounge chairs at both the beach and pool so you never have to feel like you need to reserve a spot first thing in the morning. You will always find a bunch of open lounges. I also loved the hammocks all around the pools. My son loved the mini kids water park; my older son and husband loved the gym facilities. My dad and I went to the spa and had an amazing experience; best spa I’ve ever been to on holidays. The a la cart options are great, you get 4 with your week stay. Kids club was also great. Swim up pool bars were fast and clean.
