Thank you Cesar 🙂
I would like to make a special mention to Cesar Lopez in the Premium Lounge. He always greeted us with the warmest smile. He took care of all our needs and made us feel very welcome every time. Muchas Gracias, Ceasar! Adding this line to make to 200 character minimum 😂

Would look elsewhere
This has taken me awhile to figure out how to be fair with my review , we visited Jan 10-18/2025 So let’s start with the good The STAFF! Hands down the the service staff are keeping this place going Special shout out to Alfredo and his entertainment team , super fun everyday we loved how spicy and funny Anahia was Cantina staff amazing David, Mira and Jelly always warm, welcoming and busted their butts All the restaurants had great service too The hotel itself is really pretty, beautiful ocean location, nice big rooms, comfy beds and clean ( our tvs didn’t work and and the patio door wasn’t super secure as the screws were coming loose) Pools are really nice, lots of seating and many area to swim around in , slightly odd that the pool bar is in where the kids can go but didn’t really bother us The bad - second night of our 8 night stay our friends got sick and really sick we learned quickly there was a Noro virus outbreak at the resort which made sense why it was so quiet , now we don’t know if they caught from there it seemed likely The food is very sub par, lots of variety but I think that’s the issue just find items you can knock out of the park rather then a bunch of blah tasteless food We had issues at the restaurants too with everything from cold food to black potatoes, soup tasting like fish when it shouldn’t The reservation set up is annoying having to go down every day to the concierge and wait in line for these restaurants none of which were very good Spanish speaking people absolutely get preferred treatment especially in the buffet ( able to bump in the line ups because they can speak fluent Spanish ) Our room cards often didn’t work and had to get them re done…inconvenient The night entertainment at this resort is lack lustre, while the shows had great ideas we’d definitely expected more for the star rating of the hotel, basically just a band or dancers each night to different music ( although the guy who did Freddy Mercury nailed it ) The only option is the Cantina to hang out at night and the service like I state above is awesome the furnishings are probably the most uncomfortable things you’ve ever sat on, so really not inviting at all , it would be nice to have some places to play cards or board games if people wanted and lord knows there’s enough space in the hotel We picked this place for the beach as it’s one of few on that side of Mexico that advertised a large semi private one, but it felt like an after thought, the stairs to get down to the beach are terrifying and then your attacked by roadside sellers non stop , they put a few loungers out down there and that’s it The front desk ladies during the day are quite rude, not friendly, wether you needed to change out pesos or get more water for the room it was like you were putting them out Lastly the resort has some odd odours in the hallways especially near the bathrooms so not sure if there’s an issue with the sewer lines ? I believe this could be an amazing resort with some food upgrades and some new furnishings, and I really wanted to express this to a manager rather then writing on here but unfortunately we never saw one to speak to and when we checked out the ladies never even asked how our stay was So hopefully for the staff they figure it out

Great staff, poor smoking placement
Cesar Lopel in the premium lounge is a treat! He makes the best drink suggestions and is a wonderful flirt. Took great care of us. This is a lovely resort. Quiet but fun. My only complaint is that the smoking area is near the pool and it's disgusting to be that close to cigarette smoke in this lovely place.

Mexico in January
Decided to try the south of Puerto Vallarta and was very happy with the hotel. Everyone was helpful and service was good. Not a large beach but the view was great.

Premium
Cesar Lopez was amazing in the premier room!! So attentive and amazing! Great top shelf drinks. Service was great! Food was okay but busy enough after a long day of travel. I will be stopping at premium more throughout our stay! Nice quaint area to check in.
