Great customer service
There is a staff member named Yamiya who went above and beyond for me. She directed me to where I needed to go because I was asking for a drink in the wrong area. Then when I found it, I couldn't communicate what I wanted correctly and she showed up again and instructed the bar tender on my order so I got what I wanted. I have seen her around many times since always cleaning and helping other guests. I want management to know how great she is. Again her name is Yamiya she wears glasses and has a beauty mark by her mouth. Mucho gracious to you all.

Relaxed and Beach Front View Amazing
Beautiful suite type room- huge— with gorgeous beachfront view!! The Room made the trip 5 stars! The staff, such as Kikquicia and her manager Allan in Premium Level dining area were amazing and so kind to us! 5 stars for their service and hospitality — which also included Jonathan- who helped us with our luggage to the room. These employees should be commended foe their hard work and kindness overall. The chef, Heriberto made an amazing Christmas Eve dinner which consisted of seafood and other local delights. Thing to improve- buffet should have healthier options in the main restaurant- less fried food. Overall a very positive experience- but the room absolutely made this a very positive experience!

We'll be back!
The Barcelo Tambor is a gem. We stayed there for 3 days and swam, played pool, watched the shows and generally had a fantastic time.

Great family friendly all inclusive decent food and great staff
Hotel staff were very helpful And accommodating . The hotel grounds were beautiful and well maintained. The all inclusive food was actually very good and was actually quite happy with the variety at the buffets. The 3 dine in restaurants were also very good and was happy with our ordered meals. The snack bar waits were a bit long to get pool Side snacks and also the lobby bar had lengthy lines to order beverages after pool and snack bar bars closed. Dinner starting at 7 was also a bit late For family’s but is what it is . Nightly shows were mostly Spanish but acts were great and well executed by staff. The disco after 12am was way to loud not so much the music it was mostly the dj voice was carried though the property which was a bit turn off as we had troubles sleeping most nights and I have never complained ever about noise but it was a bit much. Untill 2am this would be the only reason I would not return in the future .
