Wonderful time!
After reading reviews we were a little scared what to expect there but everything went great. Yes sometimes water was not hot or there was lineups to eat but the food was plenty lots of options for my boyfriend who has a severe gluten allergy. Special thanks to Juan Paneda who helped tremendously with translating and getting gluten free options. There are many many pools and beautiful beach. Yes getting up early was the only way to assure seats but at some point there was always somewhere to sit . I would highly recommend This resort to anyone!

Save your money and go elsewhere in Punta Cana
Our experience at Sunscape Coco was nothing short of a disappointment from the moment we arrived. My family, including our 5- and 7-year-old children and six other family members, reached the resort just before midnight, only to find a chaotic check-in process with just two seemingly lost employees handling about 15 guests. It took an exhausting hour and a half to get to our room, only to be met with a strong moldy smell, broken tiles in the bathroom, a rust-covered shower, and a door barely hanging on by one hinge. Worse yet, the family deluxe suite we had booked—advertised as having a king bed and two doubles in separate rooms—was replaced with a much smaller space featuring three double beds crammed into one small room. By the time we got in, it was 1:30 AM, so I waited until morning to file a complaint. When I approached the front desk, the employee argued that no such suite existed, despite the fact that some of our family members had the exact room we had booked. After some phone calls, I was told to return at 5 PM, at which point we were finally given the correct room. However, the issues didn’t stop there—our new room had no Wi-Fi, no working TV, and a clogged shower. While the cable TV was eventually fixed after a day, the Wi-Fi remained unusable despite three separate complaints, and the shower was never addressed. Throughout the week, the TV went out twice more, requiring additional calls to the front desk. Beyond the room issues, the service was some of the worst we’ve ever experienced at a resort. Employees across the dining hall, bars, pool area, and front desk acted as though any request was a burden, often not even responding. Basic amenities like toilet paper and Kleenex went unreplenished for days, forcing us to track them down ourselves. We later learned that the omelet station chef was hoarding bacon, only providing it if you tipped and asked for it directly. On multiple occasions at the buffet, we had to clear and clean our own tables because staff neglected to remove dirty dishes. The poor service extended to the resort’s restaurants as well—at the Italian restaurant, my wife ordered a beer that never arrived, and when she politely asked for it at the bar after 20 minutes, the waitress gave her attitude and still never brought it. Frustrated, we simply left. As for the beach, while it was beautiful and well-maintained, it was nearly impossible to relax due to the constant harassment from vendors pushing excursions, jewelry, clothes, and cigars every few minutes. The only real positives of our stay were the pool areas, which were large, clean, and enjoyable for the kids, along with the great weather. However, these few highlights were nowhere near enough to redeem our experience. What was meant to be a relaxing family vacation turned into a week of frustration, making us want to leave halfway through. Given the amount of money we spent, it felt like we had simply thrown our savings into the wind. I strongly advise against booking this resort—do yourself a favor and spend your hard-earned money somewhere else in Punta Cana.

Overprice hotel
Very very disappointing. First if you dont get to the beach at 7 am chance to have sun bed is zero. There is only one station for coffee and you have to wait at least 15 min to get espreso. Food disaster!!!!!! Evry day the same and awful quality desserts are the same 7 days. They put some good deserts at oppening that finishes immediately an dont put new at all. Staf servises are chaotic. Wherever we have been in the world this was the worst food experience. The hotel is overcrowded

Discount Resort go elsewhere if your standards are high
This resort is old looking at the rooftop and rooms not new like some say on internet it looks ,the first day I got into my room with alot of mosquitos that I had to eliminate at 10pm ,also loud music my room faced another resort,I couldn't sleep. At one point no hot water They say that they have many restaurants but they double up and one restaurant is open then other is closed, the food is lacking in variety and amount.you will be waiting in line for food, you have to line up to go to the buffet. The Tv would loose the cable daily, The theater area is small lacking in chairs and shows are pathetic. The good the beach is gorgeous but lacking in lounge chairs you have to wake up at 6pm to reserve them with your towel. This resort is ok if you get it dirt cheap on a deal this is a 3 star resort at most.Over hyped on the internet.Over crowded.Total disappointment it's cheap for a Better bring lots of bug spray, this place is old

Wonderful getaway with friends
This resort is a solid 3.5 star. It has a lot of amenities to offer - bars, a la cartes and its adults only sun club which is where I stayed. The junior suite tropical view was a great room but keep in mind that it’s open concept in that the tub is open to the rest of the room, and the shower and toilet are frosted glass. Bring a shower curtain to rig up with the hangers for extra privacy. The beach is beautiful. They do clean up the garbage and seaweed daily. Two bars to serve you and snack window. Main pool for entertainment with a swim up bar. All a la cartes were delicious! Both buffets were greats. Coffee shop could have a long line but worth it. Felix was the star of the resort - so incredibly helpful!! I would return here.
