I've been here a number of times and one of the main reasons that come here are for the staff I also enjoyed the food the entertainment crew . The Entertainment crew has so many different games To keep you Entertained if you choose to otherwise you could just sit and watch and still enjoy yourself

Good Week at Blue Bay.
Nice resort. Great staff. Never a dull moment. Beach was nice and large. Tanya was very nice and the trip even better. Very welcoming. The Romantic Night of music was great. Food was good. We were happy to be in Dominican for Independence Day.

Do not stay here
Stayed Feb 8 - 12. Contacted them in November stating that I needed a ground floor room (paid extra for Superior). Upon checking in was told I was on the third floor. Not a good start. I refused that room and was given another room - 1110. Honestly the room was disgraceful. Old, gross, no drawers at all, closet was about two feet wide and didn’t even have a shelf. Also at the very end of the resort next to a fence with a gate. You could see daylight under the door. As a single woman it didn’t feel very safe. I asked for another room. Come back tomorrow. Next day they still had nothing. At that point I said just get me a bank of drawers and I will make do. That never happened so I said please move me. They said bring your luggage up at 10:30 which I did. Sorry try tomorrow. Now I’ve packed everything and on top of that they cancelled my safe as I guess I was supposed to move. I did get moved the next day. Room was better. At least had three small drawers but large closet with shelves. Bathroom was gross though. Overall opinion - resort is very old and tired. Lots of broken chairs on the beach. Pool has about four umbrellas so no shade really. Food not great. Just a step up from Cuba. Most of the staff were great. Shout out to Raul, Junior and Empress. Dijorny (sp) should not be working in customer service in any capacity. We were there two years ago and really enjoyed it. Small resort short walk to the beach. Unfortunately will not be returning for a third time. 3 star at best and was not cheap. There are nicer places to spend your money.

Awesome
Entertainment crew are awesome, they are the reason why we continue to return. George, pearls, Alfredo, Tanya, Michelle, Handel makes the experience worth returning. We are circle one members and find a lot of things have changed for us. The bar staff are awesome, shout out to apply, dining room staff are awesome also. Rooms dated, need updates but really how long are you in your room. Awesome place to relax! 😁
