Loved it! Will Definitely Be Back. Our New favorite Resort.
Spent 5 nights here and despite some minor issue absolutely loved the place. Food: Best buffet food we've ever had. The amount of healthy options was amazing. Having a pickle station with all kinds of pickled vegetables was unique and fun. We also ate at Tao, Cariblue Windows and did I-Tal experience for dinner. All were very good. You MUST do I-Tal for lunch or dinner, you pay extra but it is a great view, amazing atmosphere and just something you have to experience while there. The healthy smoothie bar was also great. They also served good food. Staff: The fitness instructors are called bodyguards and every single one of them is mean and nasty, and I love them so much! They are not mean and nasty, but you will hate them during some of your workouts but when it is over you'll be so glad they made you work hard. The enthusiasm and energy they have is never ending. I did the daily AM walks, the High Intensity Training class, combat fitness, archery, yoga, aqua fit etc. and it was all phenomenal. The waitstaff was great, the beach attendants were awesome. Really every single person from the concierge to the cleaning person to the manager was nothing but great to us. Issue resolution: We had our A/C break (seems a recurring issue here) and they immediately got us into the room next door. It helped they were only at like 55% capacity. Found out after sleeping the first night the A/C in THAT NEW room was also not working right, it just blew cold no matter what. Maintenance came and fixed the wiring and it was fine after that. We also had a large wood/tree spider in our sink, within 1 minute they had someone there to take it away. When you have issues you want them taken care of and they did. Did not reduce our experience at all having these issues because they were handles perfectly. Room: Had the Grand Oceanfront room, highly recommend, despite A/C issues the room is great. The second room the shower did not seal all the way and water would run outside the shower but minor inconvenience. Activities: Activities are endless, we love an active vacation and don't an to sit on the beach and drink all day. This place fits perfectly for us. The massages included were fabulous. Therapist were all really good. You can upgrade your included massage to a paid wone at a discount, highly recommend doing that at least once. What could be improved: -Wine selection is limited. You can buy wine at dinner and there is a wine room where you can do tastings and buy bottles of wine, We never did that as only available certain hours. Would be nice to have 6 reds and 6 whites instead of 3 and 3 included. -It's an older place, the maintenance must be non-stop. So I would continually expect possible maintenance issues due to age and the environment. -Pricing is getting expensive, the same week in January 2026 vs 2025 is currently 40% higher despite being at low capacity for that week in 2025. The prices have gone up a ton the last few years and discounts for returning guests are modest and can only be seen by creating an account. I worry they will price themselves out of a return visit. Overall: One of our favorite resorts that we've ever visited and really nothing else like it. Great food options, awesome activities, friendly and helpful staff with a beautiful setting!

Good Job Tao
Oh my goodness, the Tao restaurant at the Body Holiday was fantastic! I come every year, but Shawnelle and Amy's service was fantastic. Keep up the good work, girls! Their voices, smiles, and laughter gave me a 10/10, and I neglected to snap a photo with them!

This was an amazing experience
This resort totally exceeded my expectations. The hospitality is top notch, food delicious and spa & activities endless. I went on a solo vacation but this resort would also be great for couples, girl's trips or honeymoons. I am definitely looking forward to visiting again.

The best holiday ever!
I went to The BodyHoliday as part of a big group for a friend’s 40th, and it was honestly one of the best trips ever. None of us wanted to leave! The rooms aren’t super flashy, and there’s no TV, but you barely spend any time in them anyway. There’s also no WiFi anywhere except the rooms and the library, which you’d think would be annoying, but it was actually the best. I felt so switched off from everything, and it was amazing. The daily spa treatments were such a treat. My favorite was the facial, followed by the chair massage. The only one I wouldn’t do again is the aloe wrap—it was too cold for me. If you go, definitely try the hydrotherapy before or after a treatment. I only did it once, but I loved it. Just ask reception for it. The food was great—I always found something I liked. During the day, I was obsessed with the Wellness Café. They had the best snacks, smoothies, and salads, and the staff were so lovely and welcoming. Afternoon tea is at 4, and there are restaurants you have to pre-book, which is worth doing at the start of the trip. We tried the Japanese one, and it was so good. There’s so much to do, and I tried everything I could—scuba diving, wakeboarding, Hobie Cat sailing, and tubing. The guys at the sports hut were awesome, and I would’ve done even more if it hadn’t been so windy. Special mention to Marley at PADI! Sunset yoga was also a beautiful experience. The entertainment was a blast. The dance sessions where you follow along with the instructor were so much fun. Mixology with Steve and his assistant was also a great time, and the piano bar is definitely worth checking out for a fun night. The staff in general were amazing. Our housekeeper (her name started with an L) was so sweet and caring. Even the gift shop was a nice surprise—it had everything from swimwear and skincare to cigarettes and little hand-curated finds. The beach was stunning, the vibe was perfect, and the whole trip was just magic. We came home feeling totally exhilarated. It’s such a special place.

Would have been a lovely trip
The resort is quite lovely. Well maintained grounds. Plenty of comfortable loungers on the beach. Other reviews were negative about the solo garden rooms, but my room was quite nice (room 311). It had a small patio and was very clean. My only complaint about the room was the large cushioned chair on the patio was not usable due to the cushion being saturated with water from the daily rain. I’d recommend different furniture so one could sit on the patio. The a/c did not work well for a period of time throughout the building during my stay. However the management acknowledged the issue and worked to fix it quickly (24-48 hrs). I did the snorkeling to the Pitons trip. The snorkeling was average (due to the reef destruction from global warming). I would not recommend the trip due to the amount of time spent traveling. The tour lasted about 6 hrs. The snorkeling was two 30 minute stops. There are two other stops in both directions to let guests on/off (at a sister hotel and for the mud bath tour). Highly recommend the FunToSee ferry (vs a taxi) for transportation to/from the resort. Lovely scenic views. The reason I did not give a higher rating was I became suddenly and violently ill after eating dinner at the Cariblue Restaurant one night. Another guest who joined our group for dinner that evening became acutely ill as well. I did report the experience to the concierge, and someone contacted me the next morning to see how I was. Unfortunately being ill the last days of vacation put quite the damper on what otherwise would have been a great trip.
