This was my first experience at a Breathless Resort and I must say it was incredible. I chose this hotel for my daughter as her first adult only experience. My husband and I were a little hesitant at first because of the "party" atmosphere. It was most definitely NOT a party resort, in my opinion. With that being said, it was perfect! The grounds were kept immaculate daily. I would even see the staff cleaning the pools at night. The food was much better than I expected from reading the reviews. Spoons was my absolute go to for breakfast and most of the food at Dreams was 10/10. The Beach side hut was the only place I would say stay away from. The Strip Grill, Hibachi (Dreams) and Steakhouse (Dreams) were the best food we had the entire trip. The staff at both resorts were just amazing. Very friendly and helpful. I booked my next trip while I was still there. The beach was nice, the pools were calmer than I expected, and the drinks were just ok. The lobby bar was the best bar on the resort. As far as the party vibe, my husband and I were looking for the party the whole time. The pool 'activities' and music were on the boring side and lacking fun. We felt like we were in a local pool back at home. It was just blah. We mainly stayed on the beach with other family & friends. Make sure to visit White Chocolate in the excursion hut by the beach. Special shout out to Bill and Lorenzo (Unlimited Vacations Club) although it was about a 4hr "presentation" (was supposed to be 90 mins) they made it bearable. I really enjoyed my vacation and cant wait to return again this summer.

Amazing and booking again!
If you are looking to go somewhere and feel like you’re being waiting on at all times go here! The staff was constantly checking to make sure we had everything we needed. Housekeeping was on point and showed up with in 10-15 mins when called. The food especially Italian restaurant was better than some five star restaurants we have been too! Few notable mentions would be Angelo at the little bar next to the stage! He would see us coming and have drinks waiting for us! He literally made me feel like I had known him forever! Janiris server walking around the party pool was hands down the best server. She was always so quick with our drinks and bringing us water without even asking. Alberto at the swim up party pool was also great and entertaining! Jana at the front area saved our friend from a bad trip. She caught bronchitis from her husband so we went to the front to ask about going to the pharmacy to get antibiotics she picked up her phone told us how much and had them delivered to us in 15mins! Buffet was always stocked at all times and service at the restaurants were beyond expectations!

Absolutely stunning resort the gardens the pools and the beach are absolutely 5 star. The rooms are nice enough and have everything you need, we normally love a hot tub in our room/balcony but it was so old and no hot water so that was a slight disappointment. We chose this resort because we are foodies and there were a lot of options between here and onyx next door...the food at onxy restaurants were much better with exception of the buffet...the Italian at breathless was terrible which is a shame..Italian at onyx was better but still the worst of all the restaurants onyx side...all other restaurants were good but Mexico all inclusive restaurants are far superior. Drinks at the resort can be very hit or miss depending on who is working some amazing cocktails but also some very underwhelming, my husband and I found that a lot of our drinks where quite flat because they serve out out bottles of Soda which might not get used for another drink for a long period of time, the bar tenders at the large swim up bar and the main lobby bar were good...the party pool bar the staff were very slow or only interested in the big tippers... Entertainment staff were great..the st Patrick day party at the pool was good and the evening fire show was really good! The house keeping staff and gardening staff at this hotel need a raise as they are keeping the place spotless! The big let down of the resort was the under age spring break kids coming though from onyx being drunk during the day and night when people at this resort specifically booked adult only...however the staff did a great job if I'd ing all the young ones and the under age kids were escorted back to onyx...but the sneakily made it back into breathless multiple times day and night. This is absolutely a party resort...probably too much of party for us as we wanted to chill by the pool during the day but unfortunately both pools can be very loud with music...if the roster had one party pool and one quite pool that would be a better arrangement for all guests...we did have a great 2 week holiday but I think thus is also because we met 2 other couples that were great..had we had not met them the holiday would have been a bit more of a downer. Book this hotel if you like a party..do not book 2 weeks if you want nice food and to chill.

Annual tradition now
Emilio is the BEST concierge there is!! Carlos is back as a manager for the restaurants welcome back and you were missed. Juan in the Coquetee, French restaurant treated my family like royalty. Xhale wait staff were the best! Love this place!

4 couple vacation
Resort was clean and well laid out. We had swim up rooms and there are tubs outside. Ours leaked all over and it wasn't clean so we did not use the tub but hadn't planned to so it wasn't a big deal. The mattress was comfortable and the room was clean. I appreciated a toilet room with a door. Our mini fridge wasn't very cold but otherwise our room was great. Food was delish and had noone in our group of 8 get sick at all. Wait staff was superb and the bartenders were great. All of our drinks were delish. The only bad thing if you will is they only serve presidente beer. A light beer option would have been great. I'd stay again!
