A last minute decision turned into the BEST decision. Come see the Cape!
I researched so many hotels from Cabo to Todo Santos for months and months … and while I was Looking at the Cape often… I just didn’t commit -as the price, especially at NEW YEARS, was way high. We typically move around a lot on vacation to check out different hotels- we love to do that, but the Cape didn’t end making the cut…. UNTIL the end of our vacation because every other place we stayed at fell short! At the last minute we left another property in El Pescadero to drive to the Hyatt Cape and were so glad we did!!! Feel free to read my other reviews of Paredero, Kimpton Los Mas Olas, and Hyatt Ziva…. Just know that our two nights at the Cape were absolutely extraordinary! You get what you pay for at the Cape! It actually is good value for the price now that I’ve experienced the competition. Other places you pay top $ and don’t get the service that you should. The Cape is 100% 5 star!!! The location is phenomenal- it literally is the best best spot to view a Cabo sunset, and you don’t even have to leave your room. It’s like watching the most breathtaking painting that changes colors every minute in the sky! It’s absolutely stunning. Note too the room service menu is excellent- so honestly you can just hunker down on your balcony, get room service and totally chill for the evening! Plus the design of the room is so classy and fun you want to take advantage of the room! Tho take one night to go to The Roof - the bar and food are stunning there too and the vibe is fantastic. It’s small so make a reservation. They have yoga there in the mornings too. The gym was excellent- again with amazing view! The service is 5 Star, everyone is helpful and lovely. We came from places that were so obnoxiously loud party party atmosphere or dead quiet and service that no where met the price of the places (Paradero). There is only one reason not to stay at the Cape and that’s if you really want a huge sprawling all inclusive resort, vs a hotel…other than that I highly recommend The Cape - especially for couples. It’s absolutely a beautiful very romantic place to stay! Thank you to all the amazing staff! Everyone was fantastic!

Special Anniversary!
The waiter Santiago was excellent and the food was very good. The ambiance, perfect with dolphins, whales and a gorgeous sunset. Friendly, professional service. Special treat on our 49th wedding anniversary. They took very good care of us!

Wonderful trip
The Cape is truly a wonderful hotel. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was beautiful and clean with incredible views. The pool area is stunning and great poolside service. The food was above and beyond what we expected as well as the cocktails, we can’t wait to go back!

Best trip year over year!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This was my third trip to The Cape in Cabo, and my best friend and I are already planning our fourth! This place truly is the best, from the top-level service to the incredible food and stunning views. I have to give a special shoutout to Gustavo and Luis. In years past, The Cape had beach chairs down on the beautiful beach. When we arrived this time, we noticed they were no longer there—but no worries! Gustavo and Luis went above and beyond to make sure we had chairs, tables, and outstanding service each day. They made it feel effortless and never once made us feel like it was an issue. The week was exactly what I needed—relaxing and warm, especially during these dark, cold Seattle days. Oh, and let’s talk about the food: EVERYTHING is incredible! Yes, it’s a bit on the pricier side, but every meal is worth it with the outstanding service and 10/10 taste. Thank you, Cape, for an amazing week! I can’t wait to see you again for our fourth stay next year!

Perfection
Everything about our stay was magical! The staff was extraordinary. They were so helpful and proactive in assisting us. We frequently requested ice to our room, and it was delivered almost instantly. Housekeeping did an excellent job of servicing our room daily. Everyone was super friendly and spoke English (a bonus, not an expectation). Not one negative experience with staff! Our room was unbelievable. It was spacious, super clean, comfortable, attractively decorated, and came with a breathtaking view of the water and The Arch. Our enormous balcony included a small table and chairs, but more importantly, a large swing daybed! We spent mornings and evenings sipping coffee and cocktails on the patio while watching whales, boats, and waves roll in. It was so incredibly relaxing and beautiful! We had a view of the water from our shower and bathtub, which was really nice. Our patio doors opened extra wide to allow our room to feel much larger and experience that ocean sound and breeze from anywhere in the room. I truly can't get over how nice our room was! The pool was beautiful, clean, and had a front row view of the water. Again, we could see whales, boats, and waves from here - such an amazing view while relaxing in the heated pool or hot tub! It was also nice that there was a swim-up bar, so no need to get out and walk anywhere to get a cocktail! :) There was plenty of seating, including umbrellas and cabanas (I believe the cabanas had a minimum required purchase of $250, but we did not get one). The vibe at the pool was light and fun, with upbeat music playing. I wish we had more time to spend here! Lastly, the food we had was excellent. We ate dinner twice at The Rooftop and experienced the most amazing sunset on our first night. The atmosphere at The Rooftop was perfection. The restaurant is surrounded by glass, allowing stunning views from pretty much any seat, and there were multiple fire pits and tables to accommodate different group sizes and preferences. We had the guac, short rib tacos, fish tacos, popcorn shrimp, and cocktails. Everything was outstanding, including the service! Surprisingly, this seemed to be the most affordable restaurant at the hotel (based on the menus, we didn't actually eat dinner anywhere else here). For breakfast, we ate at The Ledge each morning, where they had a delicious buffet spread! There were a few traditional American breakfast items like bacon, sausage links, eggs, fruit, toast, but more importantly the Mexican dishes were delicious and fun to try, as many were new to me. The menu changed slightly each day. Over the few days we were there, we had tostadas, sopas, tacos, tamales, a shrimp/quinoa dish, fajitas, empanadas, fish, roasted chicken, sweet potatoes, potatas braves...there were so many options, and almost all of them were outstanding! The pastries/sweet breads exceeded my expectations, the fruit was FRESH, and the hot items were delectable! I really can't say enough good things about our stay. It was just perfection.
