- Other Local AttractionsAltos de Chavon artists village is a vibrant cultural community perched above the Chavon River. cobblestone paths, coral stone fountains and terra cotta buildings create a magical effect in this village designed by Roberto Coppa, an Italian architect who at the time was a Paramount movies set designer. He built Altos de Chavon in the late 1970s to emulate a 15th century southern Italy-southern Spain village. Visitors today discover craft workshops, artists’ studios, galleries and restaurants. Weddings are frequent at the St. Stanislaus Church, as few places can be more romantic than Altos de Chavon. The performing arts are showcased in the village’s 5,000-seat amphitheatre, inaugurated in 1982 by Frank Sinatra and is still attracting top name performers. Visit the Regional Museum of Archaeology, a small but wonderful display of the Island’s rich pre-Columbian heritage. The Art Gallery features contemporary art exhibitions.

The experience was awesome overall! Activities, food, and service was 5*+! A notable mention to personal servers Victor and Oscar M and receptionist Marianel who were extremely attentive and caring. Kudos to them and all of the resort staff from reception, transportation, food and room service..all representative of customer first along with lots of smiles, kindness and accommodating! Thanks to all and the resort itself for a wonderful and memorable experience !

Amazing resort experience
The resort experience was Excellent It was amazing for a couples get away and you could tell it was great for large groups, golf groups etc. Spa experience and staff was unbelievable. Best in class Golf courses looked amazing, conditioning was excellent - especially for Island golf Angelica at Premier Club was an absolute Pro. One of best hospitality professionals Ive seen. Transportation around resort was excellent, Sergio G, Joan were excellent timely and friendly. Housekeeping was excellent Yennifer Perez took care of us. . Outstanding. Jersson at Minitas Beach club was fantastic, professional and on top of everything. Was lucky enough to spend a few minutes with Emmanuel Mendez, Director of Food and Beverage, who was an excellent hospitality leader, knowledgeable and clearly passionate about the service and experience being provided. Clearly the tone from the top is excellent and the leadership provided by Jason Kycek is providing excellent hospitality results

Wow and kudos to Casa de Campo Hotel and Resort’staff and world class facility and service!!
Great experience and optimum service. From the hotel welcome reception to the room service…food was a real culinary treat all over. A notable mention is well deserved to Victor and Oscar M. who provided excellent care of us while dining at La Piazetta in Altos de Chavon. And also to Marianela at the receptión! Overall a 5* + experience!! We have so many more but it would be a book to read! Thank you all for a really memorable experience!! CB

Casa de Campo is The Cat's Meow!
I was one of 13 ladies who spent 5 days and nights in February 2025 in a villa within this amazing location for a Faithful Workouts retreat. We were in a large and beautiful villa (2 Baracca). It's hard to share all the great things about this villa but I'll try! My sister and I had a wonderful room with a king-sized bed that was SUPER comfy and nice pillows. The room was large and had closets and large nightstands like dressers. The bathroom was also large with 2 sinks, an indoor shower, and an outdoor shower, open to the sky only! Both of these rooms have the beautiful raised wooden ceilings you see in the Caribbean a lot! The AC worked well. There is a large sliding glass door to access the patio. We had our own covered patio complete with outdoor furniture looking out at the pool. There are several other outdoor seating areas, covered and not. Many balconies too. Where we were, the villas were all different styles and sizes and fun to see on our walks. The whole place is lovely with comfy furniture and nice art. Outside there are lush landscape items and beautiful flowers. The pool is a large rectangle with steps on both sides of the hot tub which is at one short end of the pool. The hot tub was nice sized, and you control the jets. The pool has at the other short end a bar in it with a few bar stools again in the pool! There is a covered bar near the pool with a couple grills and a small fridge. We had our evening appetizers and drinks there! We visited their private beach a couple afternoons, kayaking one time. It's a nice sized beach with many chaise lounges and umbrellas. There are no big rocks/boulders in the water at the shore like there is at another beach we went to, so you can easily go in and out of the water. A rock break wall does keep the waves down. The staff were very attentive at the villa and the beach. We played pickle ball at their Tennis Center one time which was very nice (but hot!) The instructor was wonderful! We also got to take a boat ride out of their marina on a sailboat which was wonderful! Best end review now but there's so much more - felt very safe inside the gates of this huge resort! Highly recommend!

Excellent Resort and Staff
Excellent stay at Casa de Campo. Beautiful resort with lots of activities for our family- tennis, horseback riding, gym, beach. The employees were top notch. Junior made our stay extra special, always attentive, helping us with all our needs. We look forward to returning next year.
