    The hotel where you cannot sleep.

    I knew I was picking up a low cost hotel room. Totally fine. The condition of the room and hotel is fine for the low cost. Why the 1star?? Because it’s ridiculous for them to allow the pool area to crank incredibly loud music all night while some of us actually need to sleep. If you need to sleep at your hotel? Skip Castaways. You will not sleep. And it is entirely because they apparently allow the pool to crank music at max volume for a few people, every night, all night. Really ridiculous. They need to decide if this is a hotel, or an all night low-attendance dance club.

    Third world conditions. Pathetic hotel if you can call it a hotel

    Salt water from the taps and shower. Shower one little stream. The whole building is falling apart, rooms are pathetic, ‘free internet’ non existing. No internet. ‘Restaurant’ and food don’t even try. The owner should be ashamed. Personnel is nice but seem extremely embarrassed about the state of the hotel. Really, it is pathetic and definitely amateur time. Third world primitive stuff. If the prices were accordingly I would not complain....well, I would actually.

    Good for the Price

    The reasonable price was a major factor in our selection of this 'resort'. The service good and staff friendly and accommodating. The hotel is a bit dated but clean. I will be staying whenever I visit Grand Bahama again. Breakfast was included which was also a deciding point.

    Decent breakfast

    Nothing fancy here but the breakfast was good and served in a timely manner. Price was average for the area. But as a matter of convenience while staying at the hotel you really can’t complain. The lunch menu is also good. I can’t attest to dinner as I was usually working during that time frame.

    Disappointed

    It’s nothing like the pictures. The pool was never opened when we were there. Hotel restaurant only open couple of hours for breakfast, then dinner. No lunch. Ants were all over the room. Mattress was peed on. Changed new sheet but apparently it was soaked in to the mattress. It was like a ghost hotel. We believe we were the only people there. Hotel workers are friendly. Offers ride to the beach. But was really limited. Last pick up from the beach was at 5:45. Pretty much, if you’re going there just for sleep and leave the hotel when you get up. Then, this hotel is for you but if you want a relaxing, get away time. Then, this hotel is not for you. Would never stay here again.
