Great location
Excellent location, close to the airport and halfway between Poipu and Hanalei, easy drive both ways. Rooms are a bit outdated, but overall clean and comfortable, with microwave, fridge, keurig coffee maker and plates/utensils. The hotel garden is absolutely gorgeous. The beach is meh, but there is a nice beach within 5 minutes walking distance, a little past Lava Lava Beach Club. There are a few restaurants and a nice coffee shop within walking distance, the area is safe, nice, and quiet. I took one star off due to a minor hiccup during our check in and because one of the reception staff was a little rude. Despite this, we liked the hotel and would probably stay there again

Great location and comfy!
At check-in, you receive a free water bottle that you can fill up with filtered water, only in the lobby, and store in your room fridge. They also have ice only in the lobby. Lobby hours are from 7 AM to 10 PM and the grab and go breakfast is only available from 7 to 10 AM. The microwave, which is the only one in the hotel, none in the rooms, can be accessed up until 10 PM. They also have yoga every morning from 7 to 8 AM. We participated on our last day out on the lawn! They also have about five or six bikes that you can borrow on a first come serve basis and there’s a path that you can take all the way to Lydgate Park! Location is awesome with a grocery store across the street and some eateries and a big plus that Kenji Burger is a short walk! They also have a restaurant on the property, the Bull Shed, a little pricey, but the food was delicious! Staff were nice and helpful. The hotel rooms were comfy and provided the basic necessities to sleep and change for another day of adventures! The AC and ceiling fan worked very well! We’d definitely stay again!

Budget motel at best
If you want a Motel 6 equivalent stay on Kauai than this is the one. We were very disappointed with our stay. The rooms were cinder block walls and many of the items in the room were rusty. The front desk staff was not overly friendly or helpful. There is no elevator so be prepared to haul your suitcases up flights of stairs. There is also no maid service unless you request it 24 hours in advance. This is a budget motel with not many amenities. We would have preferred to stay somewhere else.

A great vacation spot
The outside of the hotel was a little worse for wear. However the rooms were clean and comfortable and the view was spectacular. The filtered water dispenser in the lobby was a nice touch as was the free bicycle rental. It is quite close to a number of shops, beaches and restaurants as well

Very bad experience
We were staying at the property on May 12, just one night. next day we planed to do a Napali hike over night. When I was checking in I asked if I can leave our 3 lageges and a camera bag on the property when we will be hiking next day. The lady in reception said that they don't have a real store for that but we will sill be able to leave our staff with them. She said also that I just need to contact security in the morning and everything is set. Next day when we were about to leave I called security about the bags. The lady who pick up the phone was so rude and unpleasant ive been traveling the world for decades and have never met someone like this. She said that we can not leave our suitcases with them, she added that won't come down to open reception for us to do it. she was questioning me asking who promised me that I can leave our bags on the property. She was pretending that I lied. And finally she hanged on me. We had no other option so we took our suitcases and leave them in the car when we went on the hike. Next day when we came back, we discovered that our car was robbed and every thing was gone. We lost camera bag with a lens, tripad, 3 sets of earbugs, all souvenirs, dozens of fine clotes and pairs of shoes. Each of us were just left a bagpacks and one pair of dirty hiking shoes, few t-shirts and shorts. Things we needed for over night hike. We lost over 5000 $. It wouldn't have happened if employees at the hotel would help us day before We payed for that night over 300$ but we were treated with no respect at all. I wouldn't recommend this place to nobody
