Idyllic place - birds eat breakfast with you, quiet, peaceful and lovely pool
This is a spacious set of villas set on a hill. We rented Villa 7, which was private and had its own pool. It provided us with the "get away from it all" experience we needed (we live in London). The pool is lovely - clean and well maintained. There were three full sized bedrooms with good sized double beds (I think they were what's termed queen-sized). Furniture is not modern, new or Scandi - it's homely. The staff were very accommodating, cleaning staff washed our dishes every day without a murmur. They really did whatever we asked without being grumpy about it. We had these cute little birds that came and sat on the patio outside and ate with us - they were tiny - the size of a small child's hand. We don't get that where we live, so we loved it. You need a car or to use a taxi service - we used the local taxi-driver once and wished we had used him more. He was wonderful and not expensive. To Sugar Beach it was 40 mins, Anse Chastanet Beach was a 53 min drive, 50 mins to Hotel Chocolate - 43 mins to the Sulphur Springs and 40 mins to Soufriere. Savannes Bay itself was not appealing for bathing but nice for walking. There are some beaches close to the airport with little rock pools that are good for kids. We saw about three mosquitoes for the 13 days we were there, but there are some tiny sand flies (the size of the head of a pin) that do bite, so you still need repellent. Would recommend.

Fantastic Villa should be experienced at least once in life.
The nicest villa I've ever had in my 50 years on this planet. We had villa 7. 3 bedrooms, a moon shaped pool, a wonderful fruit basket, and incredible views to go with privacy, security, daily housekeeping, and close proximity to the airport. You will never do better for your money. You will absolutely need a car out here, as cabs are very expensive. That being said, driving out here is down right scary. You need to get used to the left side of the road, and the steering wheel on the right side. The roads are narrow and often very steep. Forget about driving at night, unless you have unlimited cojones. There are many places on the island to eat that are good, but many are to the north. The Black Bird is close, and is excellent. If I ever do return to St. Lucia, I will be staying in villa 7, here, once again. You only live once, and this is well worth the cost (and is still very reasonable). There are several nearby grocery stores which will certainly come in handy. If you are aching for American fare, there's a KFC and Domino's nearby open late. But you can certainly do better than that. Eat local. You'll be glad you did. The villa is super clean, with 4 bathrooms, 3 baths. If you have little ones running around, you won't hear a thing as the floors are solid concrete. The kitchen is full size, complete with everything you are used to. There is a laundry room as well IN this villa. The pool area has a large deck suitable for a large family. The pool depth ranges from 5-7'. I have nothing but the highest praise for Castles In Paradise. Come, try and get villa 7, and you will be absolutely pleased. There is one other villa with a private pool, as well.

NOISE NOISE NOISE
There is an adjacent property (large white monstrosity at the top) whose owner installed a sound system that rivals major concerts. He threw multiple parties in the one week we stayed and blasted his music so excruciatingly loud until almost 2am that no one could sleep, even with earplugs. It felt like the speaker was directly next to our ear. I cannot believe how inconsiderate this person is and that the police still grant him permits to throw parties. If I lived in this community I would protest every day. Unless you want 0 sleep, stay elsewhere, or have them confirm the owner is not throwing any parties during your stay. The properties are otherwise nice, but location isn’t great, you’ll be driving far every day.

A Beautiful Stay!
Our family of 4 stayed at Castles in Paradise in early December. We had the most enjoyable stay. Rufina, Gizelle, and Bonnie were very warm and accommodating. Our Villa had a beautiful sea view with constant breeze that was very relaxing. Housekeeping did an impeccable job keeping our villa clean (we had a 2 year old and a 5 year old so we did give them a bit of extra work, thank you!) We could definitely recommend this place for families or couples who want to enjoy a peaceful setting with gorgeous views and grounds. Our children enjoyed the pool and visiting the fish in the pond. My husband and I enjoyed watching the sunrise on our veranda with our coffee. Thank you for a lovely stay, memories were made and we will be back someday!

Gorgeous views
We loved this place! The space and privacy it offered were amazing. Absolutely gorgeous views from the terrace. Villas were homely, but very comfortable and well equipped - rather than luxury - which is the only reason i didn't give it 5 stars. Would definitely go back at first opportunity.
