Check-in Policy - Hotel requires a credit/debit card authorization or cash deposit upon check-in for incidentals; this will place a hold on your funds.
Convention Policy - Individuals attending a convention cannot book this property for their stay. If found attending a convention, guests may be subject to higher room rates upon arrival.
Hotel Spring Break Policy - This hotel cannot guarantee a spring-break-free environment.
Transfer Policy - A price may display when children stay free, if your vacation includes transfer to your hotel.

*Important Information for our guests*
The Dominican Republic imposes various restrictions each year for Easter. The restrictions usually begin the Thursday prior to Good Friday, and run a few days past Easter Sunday. The following regulations may be enforced:
*Motorized and non-motorized watersports may be banned
*Alcohol consumption may be restricted (most resorts obtain a special permit which enables them to serve alcohol to non-native persons during the ban)
*Music may be limited or silenced
These rules are designed for the safety of everyone, as beaches get extremely busy during this period.

Go somewhere else!
There are countless places to stay, so do yourself a favor and choose somewhere else. The rooms are moldy, there’s a pervasive smell of humidity throughout, and the food is subpar. The staff seems indifferent, likely because they assume most guests won’t return. That said, the spa staff and the two ladies at the Aroma Café are genuinely kind and attentive, which is a rare bright spot. This resort desperately needs new management that acknowledges its many issues and is committed to addressing them. At best, this is a 3-star establishment.

Golf outing in an all inclusive beach destination
Check in: Smooth checkin. Flight came late at 11pm. Only the pizza place was open. Very good pizzas. Saved the night. Beach - The sea is artificially filled with sand and there are lots of underwater growth and rocks. Very uneven sea floor, ten meters from the shore if you are swimming your arm may hit the bottom. Good thing is that there are plenty of beach chairs with excellent shade. The infrastructure around the beach is nice. In conclusion: there is no beach. Rooms: very modern. The small fridge os well stocked. Jacuzzi was a little bit outdated. Overall is decent. Sound insulation is not great. Facilities: Superb Aroma Cafe place. Super polite staff. There is a natural juice place open all day till 5pm. I suggest that you direct the preparation of the juices yourself; otherwise you may not like the results. There is a crepe place beside the beach. The crepe is gummy and chewy. Tried it once, but could not eat it completely. Entertainment: shows are ok. There is a break between the end of the show at the start of the disco. People must find ways of entertaining themselves in between. Golf: only one nearby course was working. The course right beside the hotel was closed for major maintenance work. No one knows the opening date. The nearby golf course requires a 5 minute driving. You may be lucky if you are picked up at the time assigned to you. Usually there is at least a 30 minutes delay. Once I had to complain to the manager because the car came an hour late. Luckily the course is not that busy. The course’ fairways are, in itself, a rough. You can hit the middle of it and still can lose your ball. The greens are thick, not properly maintained and very slow. The course itself is not difficult, with exception of hole number 2. Par 3s are refreshingly challenging. There a practice ground that you need to ask for; otherwise, you are sent on your way the moment you arrive. Checkout: there is no courtesy room despite what the hotel staff state. There are bathrooms at the back of the shopping area with one shower and they may provide a towel. There is no shower curtain so if you bring a small suitcase it will get wet. There is not enough space to change inside the shower cabin.

Worst resort in Punnta Cana
The most disappointing place to stay in Dominican republic When I checked in, I had to wait over 20 minutes in a long ass line just to check in Then they booked me with a room over a construction site so all I hear all day long is construction and noise and the view from my balcony is just construction Then I go to the pool bar there’s about 20 people online and of course they only have one bartender so after 25 minutes awaiting I just walked away. In fact I haven’t had one alcohol drink since I’ve been here because you can’t get them. I tried to make reservations for a restaurant, but they are all booked so my girlfriend and I we will be eating the buffet day and night the same food because we can’t get a reservation at a restaurant So I saw people with crêpes so I went out to the beach to the crêpe stand right on their menu. It says banana caramel. I’m a big fan of banana. The lady informed me we don’t have banana caramel. Yes I did not get a crêpe. So I go to the pizza stand by the pool well, they’re completely out of plates and they want you to carry the pizza in your hand when I asked if I could get a plate the employee was just so rude to me even though they just brought a stack of clean paints behind the wall I saw them carry them in And he said he cannot give me one if you’re coming to Dominican Republic. There are many many great resorts try the mirage excellence or Lupeson They are more five star and you’ll get incredible service and you’ll be able to get a good cocktail and not have to wait in lines and they will provide you with a plate and if they advertise something they will have it this place is the biggest joke.

Change hotels
The hotel is paradise. Until you get in the rooms .we were moved 3 times .toilets not fushing .tv broken .fridge broken The rooms were disgraceful. Realy run down and the toilet smelt like a mens urinal . I was actually called a liar by the maintenance man who kept telling me the fridge was working when it wasn't. Reception Richardson is a joke he's rude .laughs at you and acts like he would like to be any where but in the hotel this has been said before by customers in other reviews .After 3 moves we were offered an upgrade but refused it as many people said the rooms were the same if not worse .Have you ever been in a hotel where your rep is not allowed inside the hotel tui what are you thinking .you obviously don't know or care what is going on with your customers .Toilets blocked outside the sports bar .If your spanish speaking r french it's fine if you english forget it I have so many pictures to share please think hard before you book .And catalonia please don't give me an answer for my complaint you do this to every review and do nothing Head office and tyui will be receiving my complaint

i hate jimmy
great resort, staff are very friendly and helpful (except for jimmy working the tennis court) good food, excellent cleaners. our only issue was a staff member “jimmy” who worked at the tennis registration desk, he kicked us off the court 20 minutes early (we had an hour booking but got kicked off at 40 minutes) he literally just said “get out” we explained to him that we have the booking for another 20 minutes and he flat out ignored us, we were asking why we had to leave and he just stood there ignoring us, rudest service worker i ever met, and after we left and came back to get him name we saw him arguing with 3 other guests, so clearly it isn’t just us who have a problem with him, at least he actually talked to them though instead of ignoring them. ill only return to this resort if jimmy is not there
