    Good not great

    I was actually scared to come here based on the previous reviews but I don’t think it’s as bad as the reviews made it out to me Check in : was horrible took more than an hour , staff at the desk are extremely slow Rooms: our room was fine in block 14 , everything worked but others in our group had many issues with the rooms Food: steak house was really good, Italian was also nice , everything else was meh Staff: I didn’t encounter any rude staff, they are just not overly friendly. They do their job but not with any care. For example our sink was clogged and we thought when the maid seen it was clogged she would get it fixed but she just cleaned around it and left it clogged and full of water LOL Beach: was okay lots of chairs , but it’s very rocky! You can’t get more than hip deep very shallow

    Ronnie

    Ronnie at the rodeo (steak house) was the best. Definitely when I go back there will be asking for Ronnie to serve my family and me again. I had the fillet steak and was cooked to perfection. Fantastic service and great atmosphere. Superb food all round and great for kids too.

    The staff are excellent .

    Amazing place to visit. The food is very delicious. Abimael from Rodeo resto provides us excellent service. When to multiple restaurants and i am very satisfied. I would recommend this resorts to any one and I am coming with my family. I’ve met family that return here 7times already. Eventually feels like home.

    Experience at Catalonia Bavaro

    My experience with this resort was brilliant. From the pool to the restaurant and bar staff. Especially the service from Lucas at the bar. His service and professionalism was impeccable. No complaints. Will definitely be returning. Thank you.

    Better places to choose from for the amount of money I spent

    Food was not good and lacked variety. The towel person by the pool was HORRIBLE and rude to me and my friends as well as the pool bartenders. They were slow and showed know effort, including the main one Carlos. Every 5 minutes at the beach I get harassed by people trying to sell me stuff that I don’t want. Lastly, absolutely nothing to do after 12 at night and all the bars shutdown for the younger crowd.
