This place has to be one of the nicest places I’ve ever been to as far as all inclusive. The food is on point, the facility is beautiful and the service is amazing. Overall very highly recommend! The entertainment was excellent also! Would come back!

Best Vacation Ever. Food, Massage, Coffee all Excellent. Do not hesitate to go!!!
My husband and I just left and we had a fabulous time. Our new favorite resort. Everyone who works there is super nice. Shout out to Luvia at the front desk. She went above and beyond on any request i had during my stay, even called a pharmacy for delivery when I needed something. I went to the spa everyday. The spa is beyond clean. The staff are cleaning constantly so the rooms, bathrooms, sauna etc are all spotless. The spa makes you feel really high end. Monica gives the best massages ever. They have a 360 massage which is 110 minutes of pure heaven. No elbows or forearms, all fingers. I have lots of physical issues and Monica worked it all out. I have not felt this good in years. The hydrotherapy team are also great making sure you get the best out of your time. The front desk is amazing. They made sure my appointments were correct and scheduled them to work around my other activities. If you like massages or facials, this is your place. The food and drinks are amazing. We had tacos, fried rice and a margarita on the rocks everyday for lunch. If you get a chance do the Teppanyaki dinner. They have 2 food trucks in addition to the restaurants, the fish tacos are so yummy and so were the wings. The beach is unparalled, always a chaise or chair and lots of shade. Try the passion fruit margarita on the rocks at the privileged beach bar. This is our new favorite resort. We did privilege club and loved it but the buffet is amazing and had the best all inclusive breakfast ever. Plus the coffee there is great. The resort also has a Starbuck's type shop open almost 24 hours. We will back next year as this resort cannot be beat for the price, we love it. If you are considering going, please do not hesitate and tell Monica I sent you.

Great Family Vacation
Our family of four had a wonderful stay at the Catalonia. We booked the Preferred Grand Family Deluxe room and were very happy with it. The room was very spacious and our teenage girls enjoyed each having their own bed. My husband and I were happy with our king bed in our own bedroom. The bathroom was great because it had double sinks and a nice big shower. We were happy to be preferred guests because the beach area had some shady areas and Pure bar had great drinks. We also liked being able to go to Beloved for dinner when we first arrived because you don't need reservations there. It is so nice to sit on their patio and enjoy the view while you eat. The food there is really good and the staff is excellent. I would highly recommend upgrading the privileged. Things you might want to bring: pool floaties or pool noodles, reusable straws and insulated mugs. Negatives: the resort is across from Isla Mujeres and they don't have a sewage system and instead release raw sewage into the ocean. While doing our first beach walk we noticed what looked like human feces in the seaweed that had come ashore. We googled it once we got back and sure enough, that's what it is. We saw some floating in the ocean. For this reason I would not return to ANY resort in that area. It didn't ruin the vacation but definitely ruined to ocean vibe which is too bad because the beach is absolutely beautiful and we did have fun playing in the ocean. The other negative was booking restaurants. I had to be very insistent with Salvador on day 3 of our vacation and he was able to get me into all of the restaurants. They have recently switched their booking system so hopefully it gets better. Some of the other people I spoke with had problems reserving restaurants while others did not. Other than those two things, the resort is great. Positives: we liked how small the resort was because it never felt crowded and you didn't have to wait long at all for drinks at the bar. We stuck to the quiet pool and enjoyed it there. I like that the resort is environmentally conscious and does not use water bottles or single use plastics. The food was usually really good and the buffet has lots of great options. The staff is great and works really hard to make you feel comfortable and valued. The rooms and resort are very clean and well maintained. Overall, we were very happy with our stay at Catalonia.

The staff and all services were perfect. Amazing people, smiling, flexible. We can not say nothing bad. But the only thing is the Exclusive traveller program they push you to enter and sign in any mode. As we did discover this, we refused to participate and we had little bit of hard time to explain why we do not want. The problém was that they sell it but not telling all. You should even let the credit card details. After search on internet we did mot want this.

Wonderful 10/10
Amazing experience, highly suggest for families and couples looking for a relaxing vacation. Beach was beautiful!! Food was excellent, and entire facilities were immaculate. Service was also above and beyond. Will definitely return.
