    Awesome resort!

    Catalonia Costa Mujeres in Cancun was excellent!! I highly recommend! The front desk and staff was awesome 👌 👏 Special recommendation for Luvia at the front desk. We will definitely be back!! 😊♥️♥️ Great resort for families!! Everything is easy accessible. Beach is beautiful! Staff is incredible ♥️

    Muy buena experiencia!!!

    Eduardo de la crepéria nos atendió muy bien, el ceviche de Marilyn es altamente recomendable, en general todos los colaboradores con los que interactúamos nos atendieron muy bien, Carlos mesero en la zona de albercas y Carmen de recepción muchas gracias por sus atenciones.

    Service from Francisco and Ivan was 5 stars and the same for the food, we went to that restaurant 2 times during the week but the second time with these 2 gentlemen was the best. Pasta, fish, chicken and dessert were perfectly cooked and served

    No more lobsters for ETC Romantic dinner

    We always come to Catalonia resorts with a group of friends and always look forward to our Romantic dinner with Lobster as our main course. Imagine our surprise when we got here and found out that they changed the menu for the romantic dinner this week and took off the lobster as one of the choices. They keep telling us that the new menu will be better. When we finally saw the menu, we were disappointed with the new choices on the menu. Nothing was special with the new menu. We didn’t even booked the Romantic dinner. They said that we can still have lobster but it will cost $79 per person. We already paid a lot for the ETC membership and now they are taking out one of the perks that makes our stay memorable. We are still @Costa Mujeres but it leaves a sour taste with our stay here this time. We always brag the Romantic dinner to our friends and coworkers but we can’t anymore. What else are they going to take out in the future? I took off 1 star because of this change. Some people will say that “it’s just a lobster”. To us, it’s the memories we create with our friends while we enjoy our special dinner.

    Great place to go for those that need North American comforts

    This is a lovely resort that looks very 'polished' and aesthetically pleasing (...5th Ave. is the name of the main pedestrian mall/walkway). Food is great in the main buffet area. We were there during the Christmas break, and they do have a lot of fun family oriented activities. What I did not like: -screaming and misbehaved kids/teens during Christmas break. -entitled clientele attracted to this resort. -Beach is not the best, with waves and murky water. -Too competitive to get beach chairs. -Even though we had paid for the suites at this resort, it did not make a difference with service, beach chair access, etc. Not sure I liked it enough to go back.
