Don’t have a high expectations
The resort was nice and quiet but the services were not very good. The food was not to my satisfaction. The staff were friendly but they were so slow. I didn’t have hot water in my room for the entire time and the roof was leaking. I reported to the front desk and they didn’t even send the maintenance crew

Don't waste your money
When you arrive they say welcome to paradise and it is till you go in the rooms .we had to move 3 times things not working fridge .tv .toilet blocked they took half the ceiling away to fix the air con After 3 days of packing and unpacking they offered us a premium room .but we declined as so many people said they payed for premium and it was no betterI was called a liar by the maintenance man who argued the fridge was working when it wasn't. The toilets by the sportsbar dirty and blocked see photos . Receptionist Richardson so rude laughs at you and would rather be any where but behind reception. TUI rep not allowed in the hotel .Tui you realy need to check how your guests are being treated .everything was fine except the rooms if you speak Spanish and French all good English forget it .If you leave a review on the hotel site they will apologise but if you scroll done that's all they do there not bothered this is 2x3 star for the rooms

Pay all inclusive, expect to pay more for service..
Pay all inclusive, expect to pay more for service..Arrive from airport, tip the driver. Get out the bus, bags taken from you, check in. Bags taken to room - Shown how to use a light switch and turn on TV - Another tip. See a theme building here? Good choice of food, expected to book for a buffet restaurant. It's a buffet!! You want to book a speciality restaurant book it 3 days in advance. No flexibility. Rooms have a wow factor when you walk in, but then shine wears off when you start to touch things. Door handle comes off the bedroom door. Luke warm water most days, roulette as to how many sheets you get on bed. Some days 2, some days 1. Customer service is limited. Long wait to see anybody. Staff.-Some happy to serve, for others its a chore. Limited bar service on the beach and Piano Bar. You want service you're going to have to show the dollar then they will be your BFF until the next dollar comes along. Beach - Seaweed heaven. You'll see reviews and pictures of golden sand stretching for miles. Not at this beach front. Expect to wade thru Seaweed to get to the water then expect seaweed floating around you like the hairs in a basin after shaving. Then you're stepping on the stuff under foot. Waters are not deep and you can slide quite away to the floating boom. To be fair, they do try to keep it clear, but it's a lost cause. One man, one rake. Occasional tractor pulling a trailer during peak times. Stay on the so-called Private Beach and be hassled by local vendors touting their wares constantly. If you like parrots and lizards you're in for a treat. The photo muggers will place them on your head, take photos using your phone and then demand $30 and then get shirty when you baulk at the cost...Beach staff do not intervene at all. Entertainment is dire. Karaoke, Some dancers, couple of talented singers. Then some loud bongo stuff passed off as Domincan Theme. Do not class this as 5 star Hotel. In Europe this would be 3 -4 star at a push. You want 5 stars you're expected to pay the extra $$ on top of the thousands you've already passed with. Sunbed wars as with every other hotel on the planet. Watched loungers bagged with towels all day only for the tossers to come back end of day and didn't even use them!! Boils my piss. No monitoring by staff. It's a resort!, miles from anywhere. Do not book if you're the adventuring type. Will cost a fortune in excursions. Most are 12 hours due to distances and round robins picking up from other hotels. Soana Island is nice, but it is ultimately a beach trip. Coco Bongo is a great night out. Get the Gold Member ticket with skip lines. 5 minutes up road. ATV trips in abundance. Shop around. You need to book something as you will get cabin fever at the resort. Use Uber if you want to go shopping at Blue Mall. Hotel want $30, Uber $17..Both each way. Bring plenty of Single dollars, if you want service. You'll be handing them out like candy. Don't get conned by the ExclusiveTravellers Club. They'll offer you a free VIP breakfast, whizz you off to the Pearl Beach Club, bore you for 4 hours. Time Share in a flashy wrapper. I didn't do that but I some who did!! No such thing as free lunch as they say..

Not as expected or advertised
Not as expected We paid for Privledged and did not receive anything extra worth paying for. The room was advertised as having hammocks for relaxing, yet we only had 2 regular loungers and 2 chairs. Although overall the room was good, always clean and enough amenities. They advertised secluded private area on beach, which is fine but the beds are sandwiched in and no palapas We had hoped by paying for Privileged we would have late check out as we fly late tonight but are put out of our room at noon for a 8pm flight. The main desk said no availability. Yesterday the beach was like vacationing on the 401 as we watched a tractor and front end loader work in front of us for most of the day. The staff does work hard to keep this beach clean but it is at a lost effort. I did not pay to lay on the beach and watch equipment back and forth. The sea grass on the beach is disgusting, we did not even go in the water at the beach due to the nasty water conditions I am disappointed as we had such high hopes for this vacation
