    Great resort and amazing staff!

    We just got back from Catalonia Royal Tulum, had a fantastic time, and definitely plan on going again. The resort has the perfect blend of peacefulness (strolling around the lush grounds and the well-maintained beach) and excitement (nighttime performances and optional activities throughout the day). The food is great – both the morning/lunch buffets, and the dinner restaurants. In particular, we were very impressed with the Rauxa restaurant – 3 course meal with a stunning acrobatics show. The jungle atmosphere where the rooms are provides a canopy protecting from the rain, yet somehow surprisingly almost no bugs. What really made our trip special is the incredibly friendly staff. Everyone made us feel like we were their favorite guests, remembering our names and little tidbits we had mentioned over the course of our week stay. I was a little anxious that I don’t really speak Spanish, and appreciated that everyone’s English was top notch. Special shoutout to the amazing Quetzabel at breakfast, giving us our favorite table each morning, and Mariel for continually bringing us drinks while we read on the beach. Marciello was a very friendly and taught us a few phrases in Mayan. And Abraham and Shamal were the best – including us in all the pool/beach activities – they seemed to instinctively know what activities we needed a little nudge to join (and we had a great time), but we never felt pressured at all to join any activities we truly didn’t want to. Speaking of, Catalonia Royal Tulum has a great mix of activities for all interests – ranging from more active (volleyball and pool games) to less active (movie trivia, horse shoes, painting). One unexpectedly nice touch – the resort was quick to verify that our tour group was legit before we left for a third-party excursion. Made us feel extra safe and taken care of! I can't recommend it enough - great resort, and amazing staff!

    A Fantastic Holiday!

    We had an amazing holiday at this resort! Great food and accommodations. The pool and beach were spectacular, but the best part of our holiday was the staff. Especially the Entertainment Team…Charlie, Abraham, Tita, Paulina Shamed and Diego. They made the trip so fun and always went out of their way to include us!

    Review of catalonia

    I needed a smaller pillow. The entertainment staff were very personable. Would like to be able to get more cans of beer in room. The breakfast at beloved was extremely slow. Paulina and Abraham from activities were very very good, they remembered our names each day and took time to stop and ask how are day os going.

    Great Activities team

    The activity staff are the best part the resort. Special shout out to Charlie and Abraham!! The Be Loved restaurant is great and worth the privilege experience. Exclusive club representative Nestor is wonderful. Would recommend this resort for a quiet experience.

    Amazing Relaxing Experience

    My wife and I and a couple of our friends just stayed here for 4 nights! What a treat! Highlights for us were the delicious food options. We upgraded to privileged room and resort option, which I highly recommend, as this gives you access to Beloved beach side restaurant for meals. The food at Beloved is excellent, we ate there for several meals, breakfast, lunch and dinner. The dinner restaurant choices were also top notch and making reservations was a breeze. We ate at the Steakhouse option, Tao Asian option and the Mamma Mia Italian option and all were excellent with Mamma Mia being our favorite. More importantly though was how friendly the staff were to us. Angeles always greeted us with a huge smile at the Beloved! Carmen made us feel so special at Mamma Mia’s! Alejandra also served us very well! Montejo at the pool side bar always made us laugh and served us great drinks at top speed! And last but certainly not least, Abraham was a super talented MC that made the activities super inviting and fun! Highly recommend this resort, and I didn’t even mention the gorgeous beach and water! Super clean rooms and great spa facilities!!!
