Our 3rd visit …
Our 3rd visit to the hotel, we return for the relaxed atmosphere, good food, helpful staff and good location. The access to Sandy Lane beach is easy even at high tide - the beach and sea swimming are wonderful. The one downside is the sun lounger ‘race’ each morning. This time a group of 10 would be up and reserving their beds about 6.30am and some of those beds not used at all all day! Also noticed some guests reserving both pool and sea front loungers - stopping others using them, not sure what the hotel need to do tbh

Excellent holiday. We had an issue with the checkout and Kathy resolved it without fuss and gave me a full explanation
Highly recommend. Laid back. Lovely staff - Jocelyn in the restaurant was excellent. We had a great holiday and the sea is gorgeous. We had a problem at checkout but swiftly sorted and we were given facilities for a late checkout- always a bonus with a long haul to follow

Exactly what we wanted
What a lovely authentic hotel, stayed end of Nov begining of Dec, my partner and I 1st visit to Barbados, glad we picked The Club, staff wonderful, charming and friendly always smiling, It was my partners 60th, while we were there and the staff were brilliant, firework, and cake after evening meal, a lovely surprise for him, and the staff gather to sing H/B. Caroline always around on hand for any questions, making sure everyone is having a good time, a absolute gem to this place. Room was lovely with a sitting room and bedroom, A/C as well as a ceiling fan above the bed, lovely big balcony with loungers, we over looked the beach bar, so could see the see between the bar and restaurant. Food and Restaurant was excellent, never went hungry plenty on offer at each sitting Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. It was what we were looking for a relaxing 10 days in the sun. Would we return try and stop us.

The Club Barbados
This is a great resort and good value for money. Food good and varied, loved that the Sunset restaurant was buffet or a la carte some nights. Enids was more rustic in appearance but the food top quality and beautifully presented. Most of the charm of this resort is that it feels authentic, warm and welcoming as were the staff. The bars were great and the drinks and cocktails fab, branded spirits were always available. Pool areas, lawn and sea front had plenty of sun loungers, but the ones in the sun were usually taken before 8am every day! The resort was the smallest we had visited for many years, however it felt spacious and we found that it had more atmosphere in the evenings as the bars, seating areas, stage, floor etc were all in the same area with the restaurant next door. We found the entertainment better than we had had in many years, lots of different but similar acts and a lot of 70s/80s music which suited us. The location was fine for us as I am not very mobile at the moment. Took the reggae bus to Holetown and sat on the beautiful beach and drink in the surfside bar. It didn't bother us that our resort did not have a beach as it clearly says that in the description. However sunsets are lovely on the loungers. Went to Oistins Fish Fry, was a bit of a let down and wasn't really our thing. Can't see the attraction to be honest. All seemed a bit "frantic", busy, noisy and didn't seem as described. Felt it was more to catch a tourist rather than enjoy the locals letting their hair down as it was advertised. Some toilets were awful.

Surprise visit
We hadn’t booked to go to The Club this year but we couldn’t stay away. We got a day pass met up with friends that were staying there, much to their surprise. Many thanks to the manager Caroline and to our friend Mick for sorting out a great deal , and to Vinny, Sophia & Karenne who again made it a great day. We will be back again soon. We’re already looking forward to it.
