Some Positives and Some Negatives
We recently returned from an 8-day trip to St. Croix and stayed at Club St. Croix. The accommodation was lovely and well appointed. Amenities on the property included a lovely lap pool, a spa, and gas grills for use. We also enjoyed a full kitchen with every coking utensil one could want. Our problem was the power outages. Om three separate occasions, the power went out. On a rainy Sunday, power was out for most of the late afternoon and evening. Those who own the condos there told us this was an occasional problem. Or, obviously, they would not have purchased a unit. This affected our ability to cook and keep cool in a hot climate. We had no flashlights or anything to prepare us for this. We were not told that it was a problem. The next day, the power went out again at 8 p.m. It was out for a few hours. The following day, the power went out three times. Very annoying. Our patience had reached its limits. I did mention my concern to management, I was told this was an 'act of God' comparable to a hurricane. Well, I certainly would not travel to the Caribbean during hurricane season. This would be our fault and would face the risk we took. So, we received no credit nor compensation. We did pay a good amount of money to stay there. A couple of notes: You will need a car. We rented from Judi of Croix. They are veteran owned . Prices are very good and the people there are so nice. You cannot walk to a grocery store. There are also local fishermen near the McDonald's on the main road. There are some locals selling fresh fruits and vegetables along the road. No matter, prices of food and beverages are VERY expensive. The beach at the property is only fair. You cannot snorkel there. there is only sea grass. We took the half-day trip to Buck Island. I would recommend this. Cane Bay was also a very nice place to snorkel. Compared to other Caribbean Islands we have travelled to, I would rate St, Croix near the bottom. We did plenty of sight seeing and drove quite a bit. This island just did not impress us.

Fantastic place to stay
Don't get turned off by reviews saying the neighborhood is sketchy. If you've traveled at all, you know that residential areas in most countries don't look like suburban USA. This is a great location, with easy access to Christiansted by car. Plenty of parking, direct access to the beach and pool. Spacious unit with a great king-sized bed and furniture.

Home away from home
My condo stay was very nice, I enjoyed my room at 210...this condo had everything that I wanted, the ocean view, the location, very clean, the decor was nice, everything worked fine in this condo...My host Athlene was very nice and made sure we were well taken care of...I had family members came by and fell in love with it is well.

Recommended!
The unit we stayed in was really great for us. It had a full kitchen, island seating and a dining area. The balcony looked out over the sandy beach with a pool and restaurant to our right. Close to groceries and other restaurants and convenient to downtown. Definitely recommend.

Pictures are misleading....
The room was dirty and dated. The pictures are so misleading...it is probably a 20 feet stretch of sand. It is at the end of the shore line so the water is not the crystal blue that you see. It is covered in garbage and seaweed, I didn't even want to put my feet in it. The surrounding are horrible, and a oil refinery is in the distance. The "restaurant" on the property was closed and the hotel failed to mention that and they would not issue a credit as that was part of the draw. Transportation is not easily available as stated. Once you find a taxi driver get his number and hold on to it. I personally would never return to the island.
