Deceitful messages
Our two-bedroom unit was modern, clean, and comfortable. The stairs were a bit of a challenge for our knees, with the bedrooms downstairs and the living area upstairs. The location adjacent to the street was not ideal since a large number of trucks serve the small harbor and large hotel nearby. But the biggest downside was a call from Wyndham's corporate office (she said) telling me that there was a "flag" on my account that needed to be addressed via a face-to-face visit. She could not (or would not) tell me what the "flag" was for. I called customer service, who could identify no problems with my account. I attended an "owner update" three days later on Oahu, and the representative there could identify no problems with my account. This experience is typical of how Wyndham treats its owners -- disrupting what is supposed to be a pleasant vacation experience with deceitful messages about the need for an "owner update."

Average Resort
This resort is located in a quieter part of Kona. Close to a very busy bay where you can catch tours from, next door to the golf course and there is a farmers market twice a week just steps away. If you are a pickleball player and fan, you will love this resort but if you are not, you will hate it. There was always someone playing pickleball when we were there and had to close our door to drown out the noise. Walking in Kona area generally not ideal as you need to walk next to the traffic.

nice place first time staying at this location. i would recommend for sure. weather is always perfect in Hawaii

Excellent value
Very pleasant place to stay. We had a two-bed apartment, very spacious, could have slept 6 with the sofa bed. All amenities provided. Nice tropical garden surroundings. No parking actually outside the apartment, but a service is provided from the car park (not far away) via golf cart to move luggage back and forth.

Ok resort, I would stay somewhere else in the future
This resort is average. I have broken down what our group felt was pros and cons below. When I come back to Kona I would stay at a different resort. Pros - location was good. Rooms were spacious. AC worked well. Beds were comfortable. Pickleball courts were nice. Cons - parking isn’t close to rooms (challenge for those with mobility issues). Rooms felt dated. Pools needed a refresh (loose tiles/dirty). No TV in second bedroom. Property overall was dated and needing refresh. Very loud residents above us that you could hear all hours of the night. Resort renting units for living quarters, not just vacation rentals.
