Disappointing experience
We booked a king swim up room, which is what our confirmation noted. We were put in an accessible double room. They tried to make it up to us by offering the all inclusive package but part of our choice for this location was access to outside restaurants. The hotel food was ok, not great. The breakfast buffet is organized all wrong so those waiting for eggs prevented others from getting to the buffet. They need two people doing eggs and need to move it to the other end. The staff were all nice and helpful. The bartenders were nice to talk to, to learn about how they mix their drinks. The room was awkward. The reading lights above the bed have to be turned on and off by the door. The accessible shower let water onto the bathroom floor. There was no night light in the bathroom so you have to turn on the overhead bright light. Overall not a calming experience.

We would choose this hotel again!
We were happy with our choice to stay at Coco Palm. We stayed in the pool front room that was furthest from the bar/restaurant, so with the AC going, there was very little noise. We found the staff to be courteous and responsive, though not overly warm. It was nice to be able to walk to a pretty beach and to the nearby restaurants, especially KeeBee's, which was much more affordable (yet not as elegant) as the hotel restaurant. We emailed the hotel ahead of time about an airport transfer and they responded very quickly. However, we decided to use a local tour guide instead as he was a bit cheaper and we were touring with him the following couple days. The room was what I'd call a standard size; the wifi was a bit weak, as we were the last room and the overhead shower head didn't seem to spray evenly. We were surprised there weren't screens on the sliding doors, as we did squish about 10 mosquitos in the room. The mattress was very firm, which we liked. Housekeeping left us plenty of Nescafe and toiletries were ample.

Disappointed
I give this hotel 3 stars only. The food is great, the security team and the hotel cleaners are excellent, smiling and providing everything you need as a guest. But the restaurant service starting from the supervisor it’s terrible. Some members have terrible attitude. My partner and I were seating down and we were waiting for coffee and tea for a while. These used to pass our table and never show any attention. Never asked if everything was ok. We had to always go after them to get service. When they didn’t do this to other customers. Every time we used to ask them for something they always roll their eyes and start whispering among them and my partner understood everything they were saying. It simply doesn’t look professional. We booked this hotel for full 2 weeks and this happened the whole 2 weeks. Never coming back to this hotel again. Some members of reception don’t look interested when you ask them questions. It feels they’re obligated to stay here working. We will definitely come back to St Lucia but not this hotel.

Best holiday ever
We stayed over Christmas it was everything you could have wished for, lovely food, relaxing pool and beautiful weather. The hotel is 5 minutes walk to a wonderful beach where you can rent sun loungers. The shops are a few minute walk away and plenty of places to eat if you want to get out and about. The location is fantastic. I could not fault the staff out flight was delayed by a day and they managed to find us a room for the extra night. We also met some amazing people who we will always remember.

Extremely loud music til 2am every night. No sleep and horrendous stay.
Worst hotel stay of my life and I’ve travelled widely to 70+ countries and stayed at hostels and luxury hotels- this is the worst stay. 3 reasons. Reason 1:The room was looking into the Main Street. I had no idea this would be the case from the address and hotel information. Every night extremely loud music plays til 2am- it literally feels like you are inside a club. Result no sleep and headache next day. It feels stressful after having to listen to it for more than 6 hours every night. And no way I can attend teleconferences due to noise and bad WiFi. Reason2: mosquitos in the room. Result 10+ mosquito bites. Reason3: Non-existent & extreme frustration TRYING to use wi-fi that caused me not to get an update of an earlier pickup time for a tour. Only ceiling fan. Staff are good. Though I got nil response when I complained about the room after the first night. I’m a solo female traveller and this hotel really made me hate visiting St Lucia. I’ve loved every other Caribbean Island I’ve visited.
