    Family friendly and fun

We came as a family of 5 and had the best time! An almost 3, 5 and 6yo and they raved the whole time. Enjoyed all the entertainment. They loved the kids club and kept asking to go back. The accommodations for kids (including pool bar kid menu) were really well done. Staff was all wonderfully friendly and above and beyond helpful. Our girls loved paradise beach and even “rougher” water days seemed fine on shore!

    Amazing Experience

We go to Coconut Bay mostly for the kitesurfing / waterspouts. The team at the Kiteshack are amazing (Linus, Andre, Stan, Jeremy & Notis), they were exceptionally helpful and provided some great tips to improve my sport. The hotel and the staff are brilliant. They are attentive and try their best to make sure that every stay is as good as it can be. The hotel is family friendly but they have successfully managed some seclusion and privacy for adults. All the restaurants provide great food, including a new one that is specifically vegan/vegetarian - we had a lovely chat with the chef who told us all about the food.

    Best Solo Trip Ever!!

I had an amazing time at Coconut Bay Beach Resort & Spa! The food and atmosphere was amazing! I had the chance of doing 2 excursions (Zip lining /Land & Sea Tour) and an 80min full body massage at the Sanctuary Spa! The tour guides were great and very knowledgeable about the history of St. Lucia! All of the staff and security at the resort were wonderful and made sure that I had the best experience - they really looked out for me as a solo traveler! I truly felt safe. Special shoutout to Richie (entertainment staff), Kaylee (entertainment staff), Paula (Housekeeping), Tyron (bartender), Evan (bartender), Ervin (bartender), & Tara (dinner reservations) I truly enjoyed myself and didn't want it to end- I will most definitely be back

    A Piece of Heaven

We stayed in the Serenity section of the resort in a suite that included a private pool with a water feature that was perfect for cooling from the Caribbean heat. Our butler, Davidson, was so attentive and thoughtful - and that was just the beginning of incredible service and attention to detail. Every day we received the treat of a new, charming folded-towel critter along with impeccable cleaning. We so enjoyed the Creole cooking class, and we were treated to two St. Lucian dinners prepared by the amazing Ingrid. Both were fabulous! Our couples massage was perfect, and our pool-side cabana dinner served by Ali, was unique and delightful. Kevin, Ray, and Delon made the pool-side bar our social gathering point. All the staff made us feel so comfortable and welcome. And Christopher, hats off to you for leading all the aspects of this excellent resort and finding time to interact with guests as well. It's a great big, beautiful world with so many places to visit, but I would be delighted if our journeys bring us back to Coconut Bay. Meanwhile, the memories we made there will always bring a smile to me as I recall all the smiles of the wonderful staff. Coconut Bay is so much more than a place to get away from the cold. Beyond the Caribbean sun, the warmth and sincerity of the staff has warmed my heart for eternity. Thank you!

    A solid 4/5

Just returned from a great week at C'bay. This is an honest review comparing it to over 25 other AI's in Mexico and numerous islands in the Caribbean. We booked a Deluxe Ocean View room on the Adults Only Harmony side. PROS: 1. They offer a free shuttle from the airport which was very easy to use and they wasted no time getting us to the resort which was less than a mile away. Just email the resort ahead of your arrival and go to the kiosk for Coconut Bay right outside upon exiting the airport. 2. Check in was a breeze. We were greeted with cold towels and a refreshing drink and Kianda was very kind while checking us in and providing information. 3. The food overall was very good in our opinion compared to many other AI's. There were plenty of selection at the Buffet. The Jerk Tree House had excellent jerk chicken and fish. The cheeseburgers were delicious at Flip Flops by the pool. We ate at the Asian, Italian, Vegetarian and Caribbean ala carte restaurants which were all decent. The Asian was by far the best. 4. The beach was beautiful...soft white sand and turquoise blue water. You have to go down the steps to the left of the hotel (looking at the ocean) to go to Paradise Beach. Yes, it's on the Atlantic side and little rough - some days more than other. And yes, there is sargassum...again some days more than others... but they're constantly cleaning it up. The farther you go on Paradise Beach, the more clear and calm the water was and less sargassum. There is a beach bar where Tyson and Marz did an excellent job with the drinks. They also provide towels on the beach and have a little sandwich hut with cheeseburgers and fish and vegetarian burgers which we did not try but heard they were good. It was also fun watching the many wind surfers. 5. The overall vibe of the resort was very relaxed and everyone was very friendly. They did have activities throughout the day at the main pool we mainly stayed between the beach and swim up bar on the family side. Jamal took good care of us at the swim up bar. 6. The rooms were cleaned daily very promptly. Ketrah was our room attendant and did a great job and left us beautiful and inspirational notes each day. A very nice touch. CONS (really hate to complain but some things need to be mentioned): 1. The room: --- we booked a king room but received 2 queens instead. I understand that happens and they offered to move us when a king became available but it's too much of a pain to repack and move. --- the bathroom was VERY small. There was no tub and the shower was very small (I'm not a big person at all). There was only one little soap dish in the shower and no shelves or anywhere to put your shampoo etc. Also, the water handle of the shower was horizontal instead of vertical so every time you tried to turn around or bend down to get your soap or shampoo, you would bump the handle and change the temperature....yes it was that small of a shower. ---There was only ONE outlet (U.S) in the entire room at the desk/vanity....none in the bathroom. This was a big problem while trying to use the lighted makeup mirror (which by the way was a big PRO), a curling iron or hair dryer and charging your phones etc. --The only thing provided in the mini fridge was water. We requested they to also have a few beers and soda but was advised it would an additional $50/day. What!?!...that's crazy for an AI especially for the price we paid. ---There were a couple of days/nights where the wind was a little chilly and they have a couple of very nice hot tubs, one on the family side and a nice large one on the adults side. The temperature of both of them was extremely hot though and not comfortable...and I like hot. Several people complained about it. As far as entertainment, it was adequate. Some nights better than others as far as the singers in the lobby area and the shows were adequate but not outstanding or worse than other AIs we've been too. The piano bar and karaoke were fun as usual. I would recommend this resort for both families and couples. The resort was supposedly fully booked but it never seemed crowed at all. The location to the airport was great. Last time we went to St. Lucia we stayed at Sandals Grande and the road trip there was excruciatingly long and very winding.
