My daughter and new son in law just got married and we’re so excited about their honeymoon at this hotel in Cancun! They booked this trip months ago paying a very pricey amount for a king size bed with a honeymoon package!! Upon their arrival today, they were put in a 2 bed room , no welcome honeymoon package only to be told they didn’t have a room that they booked and paid for!! How disappointed they are!! We have tried talked to numerous staff and they are not able to help them out!!!

The worst show
This was the worst rocktailshow we have seen. The Show Team was terrible, the Band was okay. The cocktail we're almoust mocktails tasting like water. The Rocktailsshow in Iberostar Paradiso was on the contrary very good. Sorry to spend a lot of money for the show.

Second trip to this adults only all inclusive. Room was not ready at arrival. I returned at 3pm and it was ready. 6th floor adjacent to the elevators but it was mostly a quiet floor. Great views, incredible bathroom, comfortable bed. Fan runs all night if you don't adjust it. The big change from the previous visit in '23 were the restaurants (Steakhouse, Italian)They no longer take reservations. You are competing with the main Iberostar for reservations. Only the Japanese takes reservations. The night I went to the Japanese it was good. Great service and the food presentation was good. One other night I tried to get into the Italian but was told at 6:45p that there were 12 reservations ahead of me. Disappointing. At the Coral level, the restaurant was quite good. Buffet breakfast were exceptional with the variety. Had Dinner there too because of the restaurants unavailability. The staff at the buffet is attentive to your needs..getting drinks, clearing dishes etc. Lobby Bar was exceptional. Irma was great! She makes a great Cosmo! Pool area...The infinity pool was always clean. Shout out to Santiago at the pool bar, always a smile and hello. The pool area servers work hard and were attentive. Did not eat at the pool area. The music gets louder as the day goes on..from usually 11am to 4pm the music and activities are in full swing. The activities people are not memorable, no one stands out. My check out was at 5am. The young man working was totally lacking in customer services skills. Never asked about my stay.. Took him 10 min to contact the bellman to bring me to the main hotel. I paid $100USD for airport transportation (thru Iberostar) The driver asked for my airline, American, terminal 3. Its dark, its raining. He stops and lets me out I go inside and ask the man in uniform for the AA counter and he says this is terminal 2 you need 3...VERY unfortunate for me. I had to pay a taxi $10 to take me to the correct terminal. I contacted the transport company W2M and they have yet to respond.. Too many things wrong this time...sorry Iberostar I can't give a 5 star rating.

Check in was easy and quick, our room was ready when we arrived early in the day. The staff members were all attentive to any needs we had. Each drink is made from scratch with fresh fruit etc. so it can be a bit of a wait but well worth it. I found the location to be quite windy compared to other resorts we stayed at, this was okay when we were there because it was very hot. The food was good for an AI. Entertainment was fairly quiet, if you're looking for a party you will have to go off resort. We generally don't go back to the same place twice but this hotel is an exception and we would go back.

Stay away if you want a quiet and quality vacation
If you want a quiet vacation - stay away from this resort. They have no concept of volume and music. It literary blast almost all day. Many request to lower the volume had no affect. It was totally impossible to conduct a conversation or even read a book. We book a cabana to be able to relax while still outside, and not getting early to get a good spot (typical for Mexico vacation). Because of loud music, cabana usage became a moot point. So staying outside and enjoy the sea and sun became a huge issue. Unless of course you walk to a neighboring resort. This resort has only buffet which is good. One night however they had an a la carte service. Menu was short and food was at best mediocre.
