  Impressed and can’t wait to return!

  Wow. I had high expectations having read the reviews on this place, but nothing could have prepared me for such a perfect week. I am so grateful that I found this little gem (and that they somehow had availability!). This property is so quaint and beautifully kept, and the scene is very relaxed and welcoming, particularly for a solo female traveler. I felt safe and comfortable and enjoyed the company of many couples who have been traveling to the property for many years. The rooms (I split my trip between Silvia and Cocktail) were well appointed, so clean and smelled incredibly fresh. How do you do that right on the water?!? And both had amazing views, mere steps from the most crystal clear water a girl could ask for. The restaurant and bar next door (Beachside Cafe at Sand Castle on The Beach) were very convenient and I enjoyed a nice walk into Frederiksted, although I could have grabbed one of the bikes the property offers for this trip. Everything about this visit was amazing!

  Adorable cottages on gorgeous beach

  I stayed in the Cone Shell cottage for several days in late January. It was the cutest little place and had every last thing I could have needed. There is no food & beverage service at this property, so you need to bring some groceries. There is a restaurant next door, but they do not serve breakfast. So at minimum you need to be self-sufficient for coffee & breakfast (I wish I had known this part in advance). The A/C was plenty cold, the bed was comfy and the cottage was very clean. The property is well kept and so cozy. The beach is honestly the best on the island. I have visited almost all of them! Nice, sandy entrances, calm waters, no seaweed, etc. There is plenty of free parking. Wifi worked great. Staff was very friendly. I found the guests tended to be on the older side, which means the property stayed pretty quiet. :-) Most guests I met return there year after year, which says a lot! Overall I adored this place and would love to return.

  Visit the West end of St. Croix and Cottages by the Sea

  We go every year for 2 weeks and are steps from the beautiful beach with cabanas and umbrellas and 80+ degree water with snorkeling an easy swim away. The Cottages staff is friendly and accommodating with the owner often on site. The cottages are very comfortable with great beds, cooking utensils and accessories, and coffee filters provided. There is a great restaurant next door on the beach. The west end of St. Croix is the place to be on the beach.

  A true gem in St Croix

  This is my second visit to St. Croix this year, and I loved my stay at The Cottages so much that I chose to book with them again. The property is beautifully maintained, the staff is incredible, and they go above and beyond to ensure you have everything you need. Staying in the Crow’s Nest offers the most breathtaking view of the beach. I also have to mention Annie, the housekeeper—she truly takes pride in her work!

  Cottages Can’t Be Beat for relaxing

  We had an absolutely amazing stay. The staff are so friendly and welcoming and the location is stunning. We stayed in Sylvia’s Cottage. We had a fridge, microwave and toaster. No stove but very clean grills are available for use if you want to cook a meal. Sitting on the patio, watching the ocean was a perfect vacation!!!
