Jan 27, 2025Great place to stay on Seven Mile beach
Excellent location right on the beautiful Seven Mile beach. Room was rustic but comfortable and the shower was always hot and worked well. All staff were friendly and Gary at the bar was especially great. He helped us get a Premier League game on the TV and chatted with us at various times during our stay. Room rate offered good value for money and breakfast was great with good amount of choice. There is also a cash machine right across the road as well as a lovely ice cream shop which was handy. We would definitely stay again and enjoyed our stay here more than a '5-star' resort we stayed at later in our trip.

We love Country Country!
We had a wonderful stay! The room itself is mid - and I say that only because people are bougie, but the vibe and staff make this place special! The property is beautiful and it is the perfect location on 7 mile beach (ATM and grocery store are right across the street too). The staff will go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need and a great stay. Breakfast is delicious and it has a great beach lounging area and bar. We made reservations for a NYE dinner on the beach and neither the food or the ambiance disappointed. We will definitely go back!

This is a quaint budget friendly boutique property. You are able to relax and sit back and enjoy the beauty of seven mile beach. The staff are outstanding, friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable. Property is set up as small intimate cottages and never feels crowded with lush green foliage throughout. It's definitely worth a visit.

We will be back next year!
This was our first trip to Country Country and we loved it! We spent 12 nights in a premium room #508 and loved our little stand alone cottage. This was our 27th trip to Jamaica and are already going to book for next year. We were disappointed that our usual resort was already booked for December, but since we've found Country Country we don't care anymore. Breakfast was included with makes it nice, but we did eat breakfast at other resorts a couple of mornings. Loved talking with Gary and London and Supa kept our room nice and clean! The bed is a little hard and for the life of me I can't inderstand why the water in the sink is so hot, but in the shower it's barely warm, but hey, we were in Jamaica! No worries!

Dec 14, 2024Charming hotel in a great beach location that is sorely in need of updates
Country Country is a lovely boutique hotel directly in the center of Negril's 7 mile beach, thus a wonderful location on one of the most beautiful beaches in the Caribbean. It is a great hotel to wake up in the morning, have your included breakfast, and then set out on a walk up the beach to enjoy the beautiful blue skys and warm water. We walked 3-4 miles on the beach every morning. The beach area on return is set up so nicely with lounge chairs and umbrellas for a nearly perfect relaxing day. However....the entire property is a bit tatty and it is obvious the owner is not putting any money into maintaining the buildings/cottages in an updated manor. Everything just looks old and a little dirty....including the walkways which really just need some power washing and the buildings which sorely need a coat of paint. The gardens are beautiful and kept so lovely....why not put some of what you are spending on the gardeners and hire some painters? Also, the rooms are ok....they feel old and the towels in the bathroom are literally so tatty that they are scratchy. This hotel needs to buy new towels for their bathrooms immediately. It is kind of gross to be using such old tatty towels. The sheets are marginally better. No nice blankets are offered either, so when the airconditioning gets cold in the middle of the night, there are no nice blankets to get cozy with. The veranda on our upstairs room was large and very nice. At least you feel like you've extended the space you are living in. The service and staff were lovely.
