  Your own quaint tropical paradise steps away from the beach

  These quaint & lovely rooms have excellent air conditioning, are sparklingly clean, offer delicious and varied breakfasts, the best drinks on the beach, & the most lush & lovely lounger spots on 7 mile beach! I can not say enough great things about Country Country. The manicured grounds of the hotel feel like a true tropical paradise. They even have their own security guard to keep undesirables from intruding on your beach time. The pool is fresh water & just that much cooler than the ocean for when you've had a bit too much sun. The staff are friendly, helpful, warm, & make these intimate cottages feel like your own private utopia. Why would anyone stay at an all inclusive when you could pay a fraction of the price to stay at Country Country?!?

  Needs Improvement Improvement

  Got off to a bad start when the taxi we had ordered via the hotel - we have email confirmation - did not turn up at Montego Bay airport as the Hotel had failed to order it! We informed the reception on arrival and barely got an apology from the three staff there. Bizarrely, the matter was never raised again by the Hotel. We had a premium room and never saw daylight from it as all the shutters are permanently closed as the property is very narrow so neighbours can look in. Food is pricey and poor. Twenty US dollars for jerk chicken - from frozen - and chips, for example. Lovely beach but peace is shattered by loud music from MargaritaVille close by. Also stay away from small pool area during school holidays as screaming kids play there 11am-6pm. Breakfast good, with standout server, Camille.

  Value for money . If staff was better could be a lovely place

  Staff very rude on phones all the time , can hear them laughing and joking about guests . Not very quick service. Room very clean and good for value. Guests using the pool out of pool hours into early hours and not being told could Be very load . Lovely beach area breakfast was very nice , just service very slow . If you want to do any days out like bob Marley duns river , they are 14 hour day trips. You do get bite a lot due to the opens on the wooden cottages .

  Amazing beach but poor accomodation

  The beach (outside area) is maybe the most beautiful in the 7 miles beach! The little houses look nice from outside but from inside they are super simple - the sofa bed is not suitable for use unless booking for kids of max 5 years old! The room does not get dark at all in the evening - we had to wear sleep masks that we had for the plane and the worst of all is the noise as they are next to a beach club and they play music the entire day and in the night until 3 am! Therefore in case you look for a relax holiday, this is not the place to be! The worst is the restaurant - the quality of the food is really poor - the plate with shirimps comes with 5 shrimp voor 20 dollars! It is a joke!!!!! Go to have lunch at the hotel next door - the blue one! The prices are much better for a good quality food and big portions! Last to say, in case the review of others are good is because everybody there was stoned and cannot notice anymore what is good or bad! Still for a beautiful beach as a couple, this can be a good option!

  Disappointing, left early

  We were hoping for cool and quirky but what we got was sleepless nights and insect bites. The windows have wooden shutters (no glass) and the doors are the same and are no use at all in keeping our the night-time noises of the tree frogs and crickets, which sound like a collection of car alarms, the very loud music played by some of other guests until all hours or the biting sand flies or mosquitoes. Due to this we got next to no sleep and suffered from dozens of insect bites. How bad was it? Well we were supposed to stay 10 nights and checked out after 3 which just about says it all.
