Amazing Trip
From our booking until they dropped us off at the airport on our way home, they took great care of us! Everything about this trip was amazing; the service, the food, the beach, and the room were perfect! This was our second time at a couples resort and they did not disappoint. We will definitely visit them again!!!

Small jewel in Ocho
Changed our plans from the finger lakes and a cabin to Couples San Souci at the last minute and don't regret it at all. The only reason I didn't give it a five star review was a few little quirks we ran into along the way, but overall its a great small resort on a beautiful property. There are extensive steps and hills and lots of walking even though it's not a large property. We had a garden suite which had a bit of an ocean view but it was way too hot at night to sit outside anyway which was the only time we were in our room. Suite was great. Loved all the hooks to hang things in the room and the bathroom and on the balcony. Kudo's wish other resorts were that thoughtful. Well appointed room, comfy bed, nice bathroom and shower and cleaned well daily. The refrig in room but a bit of an issue. I kept asking for coke and nothing else in frig and we were lucky to get one coke a day. I wasn't asking for top end alcohol just soda but it just didn't happen. We enjoyed lunch with a great water view daily and my husband took advantage of diving daily while I took advantage of the beach and pools being relatively quiet and uncrowded. Loved having the float mats available at both beach and pool. We did not check out the au natural beach but a lot of people must hang out there since I saw many more people at night than during the day. Dinner was good as well and we never had to wait for a table. Breakfast was ok but not something to write home about. Found something to tide me over till lunch. The liquor was not much in the way of top shelf except for an occasional appearance of a good bottle in the evening at the balloon bar. We ate at Cassanova's once and the Palazzini most nights and had room service the last evening while we packed for an early departure. We did not eat at the Asian restaurant. Cassanova's was good but did not stand out enough to make reservations to return since they usually only had late times available. We went to the Martini bar one night for a drink but the evenings/nights were so hot and humid we didn't last sitting outside for long and it's a lovely area we were just too hot. We braved the entertainment one night but were literally melting in our seats so did not brave it again except for the Jamaican buffet night and it was ok, but really they just used the guests for a cheesy dance off and that was it. I thought there would be more cultural entertainment. I actually had a facial and I have never ever used any of the spa's in any of our travels in the past. Ruth was fabulous! The staff overall were all friendly and mostly attentive but each day was a different experience and one day everyone would be attentive and the next day you had to say excuse me and ask for service. There was a woman in the coffee shop and a few people at the front desk, that, for being in a public service job weren't the friendliest. Room service forgot our breakfast our early check out morning so we had to eat at airport which was no biggie but frustrating since I thought i arranged it the night before. I enjoyed the scenery and the grounds and we made lots of friends to chat with throughout the week and we will return. We did not take advantage of any of the free day trips available since his goal was to dive every day so we just relaxed and went with the flow and it's a great place to relax.

Awful sickness the whole week and hotel no help!!
I recently stayed at a couples-only resort in Jamaica, and unfortunately, my experience was marred by a severe illness that struck during my vacation. I was really looking forward to a relaxing getaway, but I ended up feeling very unwell for most of the trip, which completely overshadowed the vacation. While the hotel itself was beautiful, with stunning views and luxurious amenities, my illness took a toll on my ability to enjoy any of it. Unfortunately, the staff’s response to my situation wasn’t as swift or supportive as I had hoped. I found it difficult to get the help I needed, whether it was for medical attention or simply ensuring I had enough water and comfort in my room. The resort wasn’t as responsive to my concerns as I would’ve liked, which made the situation even more frustrating. When I did get the opportunity to see the nurse she informed me they had 2 employ a second one due to many sickness cases. Still waiting on hotel and Jamaican health authorities response

Beautiful honeymoon!
There's not too much more to say than the title, we had a beautiful honeymoon at Couples San Souci! The property was stunning and very clean, and the staff were so friendly and welcoming. Really appreciated the support from the staff after an overnight delay from our airline. Breakfast and lunch was very good, I loved having local options to try. Dinner did let it down a little as I felt it was catering to an American palette. The kitchen excels when it focuses on the local flavours, the gala dinner on Tuesday night was a highlight! Would highly recommend and can't wait to come back! Thank you!

Bad outweighs the good.
Some highs and some lows for this hotel— Lows- - I got food poisoning from the Friday night all resort dinner. This made travel home horrible and stuck around for days. Although I’m thankful it happened at the end of our trip, it still made the entire experience end on a bad note. The food in general was hit or miss. - We stayed in a beachfront room which was great for convenience but OH MY GOSH it is SO LOUD at night. It’s like being inside a club. I could not believe it. Our first night they had a disco party until 11pm at the beach club and we just wanted to sleep after a full day of travel. I would not book the rooms again just to get some peace and quiet. We stayed from Tuesday- Friday and the ONLY quiet night was Wednesday. - Additionally, the beachfront rooms were a little more run down than the pictures and smelled musty. The sliding doors don’t close all the way and have gaps so they fog up and you can’t even see out of them. They only have pin locks at the top. Highs -The property is beautiful and well maintained. Many hidden areas that are lush and feel private. -Housekeeping was wonderful -It never really felt busy or overwhelming. We were always able to get a chair at a beach or a pool and it gave off the aura of a small resort even though it has a decent amount of rooms Would we stay here again? No.
