Nice pool and grassy yard
We stayed there 2 nights before our flight home. There are not many hotels in that area. The windows in our room did not open to the warm Hawaiian air. The pool area had a big nicely landscaped yard. The bed was comfortable with three types of pillows. There is a refrigerator and microwave in the room. The staff was very nice.

Convenient Hotel, Inconvenient Guests in our room
We had an unfortunately, pretty awful experience at this hotel. We traveled with 1 other family and stayed here for 1 night after a longhaul from the mainland. We stayed on the 4th floor of the hotel, to wake up the next morning to ants all over our bags. We spoke to the GM, who sent an a manager to take a look. The manager attested that we probably brought the ants in ourselves. It's not the kind of response that comes moderate-higher range hospitality groups. It was suggested by the GM, to contact their regional director, Mr, Gregg Lundberg, for which I emailed 2x. No response from him or anyone from Marriott. My family has visited Maui several times, knowing well how expensive it is. Given the price, I would suggest to visit the other local hotels

Terrible experience—avoid this hotel!
We’ve stayed at Marriott properties multiple times this year to support the local community, but the Courtyard Marriott Kahului has been a nightmare almost every time. The check-in process is a mess every time, despite clear state policies. Jennifer, the manager, was rude, dismissive, and completely unhelpful—even arguing after being shown proof of the policy contradicting her stance. You know you’re stuck in a near monopoly when you’re paying nearly $500 a night for a basic room with zero amenities or services, except for being near the airport. The only redeeming feature of this place is the food trucks parked next to the hotel—because you won’t find much else worth the price here. If you value your time and sanity, stay somewhere else.

Very convenient
This would be one of the ideal spots for a one night stay arriving or leaving Maui. It is clean and easily accessible. It has an excellent gym for this type of establishment. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The cosmetics are good quality and the beds luscious.

Rooms Need Improvement Especially for the Price.
The hotel rooms are dated and feel lifeless. We stayed here for the first two nights of our trip before heading to Hana. For the amount paid, our stay fel like a poor value. The staff are friendly of course given that it's Hawaii! There is a great food truck park within walking distance.
