Feb 26, 2025Paradise Island is a wonderful place to vacation!
Paradise Island, and The Cove hotel, offers everything you'll need for a safe, enjoyable Bahamas vacation. We never felt the need to leave the island, it had all the food and entertainment you would ever need. We would certainly recommend it to anyone.

The facility is amazing, and the staff is all very friendly and professional. The Cove is beautiful and the ocean view is spectacular. The food is 5 star and the transportation is excellent, very little waiting to visit the other facilities. Overall a perfect vacation and will return soon.

After switching my original reservation and extorting more money from us we stayed at the cove. The room was nice with a great view. Don’t think the price tag is worth it. Had a great time at the water park and marina. My kids did the dolphin experience seems short and rushed. Picture quality was horrible. Did an excursion outside the resort and was 100 times more worth it.

Nice surroundings but food is underwhelming
This is a beautiful hotel but I must say that the breakfast at the Lapiz room is completely underwhelming The coffee machine was great as you could customize your order and they had oat milk which is nice as I try and eat healthy My beef was with the hot breakfast Sausages that were lukewarm warm Pancakes with that awful fake maple syrup clearly labelled “maple syrup” um no it’s not at all For the price I would expect really hot good food and real maple syrup They really need to revamp the food selections in the Lapiz room I liked our room and most of the staff were helpful The pool had a lot of reserved chairs with no one there for hours

Underwhelmed
I’ve been visiting Atlantis for over 20 years, staying at the Royal multiple times, so I was excited to finally experience The Cove. Given the significantly higher price point, I expected it to be a major upgrade—but unfortunately, it fell short in several areas. The rooms feel dated, and there’s a strange smell throughout the property that’s hard to ignore. One of the biggest inconveniences was the lack of breakfast options—there are hardly any, making mornings a challenge. While The Cove’s pool is undeniably beautiful, most services across the resort don’t seem to start until 11 AM, which feels limiting. Another major downside was the air conditioning in our room—it never seemed to cool down properly, which made it difficult to relax after a long day. While the private pool and beach area are nice perks, I can’t say they justify the nearly triple cost compared to the Royal. I wanted to love The Cove, but it just didn’t live up to expectations. For the price, I was hoping for a true luxury experience, but instead, I found myself missing the value and convenience of the Royal.
