Disappointed over the years
My family and I have been coming to Atlantis twice a year over a period of 18 years now. My husband and I got engaged and married at Atlantis, and we have been bringing our 3 kids there twice a year since then. Atlantis holds a special place in our hearts and that will never change. We always feel welcomed by great staff and accommodated by the variety of entertainment for us and our children. However, we are extremely disappointed with our last few stays. The chairs on the beach are in horrible condition! All the chairs with shades are broken and I mean ALL. I could not find a single chair with a properly working shade. We are so disappointed that management would not invest in changing this. After all, the Bahamas has one of the best beaches in the world, and guests spend most of their vacation days out on the water.

A great weekend at Atlantis Bahamas
I've only visited Atlantis from a cruise ship - which you have limited access. However this trip was a fly-in and Atlantis stay. I have to say, it's everything you'd want, and more. The resort is beautiful. The staff is above and beyond friendly, and accommodating. The pool options are plentiful, although we hung at the Cove Pool because it was next to our tower (and no kids). But there was plenty of room, the atmosphere with music was not in your face, but very relaxing. The service at the pool was top notch. The food and drinks were great, and reasonably priced. The Cove room was comfortable, clean, spacious, and nice to meet in the living area, and be able to watch the cruise ships come and go. We ate at Fish at the resort, along with Cafe Martinique and Carmines and in the Marina Village. Great food, and service. I can't say anything I didn't like, and our group is already planning on visiting again next year at the same time.

Great vacation!
Staff helpful and friendly. Cove was beautiful, as usual. Great tennis and pickleball events at the beautiful, well maintained courts. Food good. Have a great Casino host and some luck at the variety of Casino slots that are available. Can't wait to go back!

Buyer Beware of Lapis Club
First I’ll start with the good stuff - the room at the Cove was awesome. Great view and nicely decorated. Also, the restaurants we visited were all fantastic. We ate at Seafire, Fish, and Carmines during our stay. Excellent food at all 3 but somewhat overpriced. Now the bad stuff. The Bahamian staff mostly appeared lazy, unhelpful, and arrogant. We had 3 suites at the Lapis club and had 4 children in our party. We were told by the sales staff when we booked the rooms that children would be allowed into the Lapis club as long as they were not disruptive. However, they were not allowed in at all, so we could not use the club. They would not even let us bring food out to the kids. Had we known this up front that children would not be allowed even for breakfast, we would not have paid the extra $1,000+ to have access to the club.

The Cove Is a Special Place
The Cove was a fantastic experience! It's luxurious, clean and has everything you need to have a great time. It was wonderful to have our own large pool area with a beautiful bar. Fish and Paranza were beautiful and had great food. The staff were also super attentive and top notch!
